There’s a new Morgan Wallen song out right now, but it isn’t exactly a new song.
The 30-year-old country singer just dropped a re-recorded version of his song “Spin You Around,” which was included on his Stand Alone EP back in 2024.
Morgan has released the re-recorded version in response to his former colleagues’ decision to release a 10th anniversary edition of the EP, including eight unreleased songs.
“I want you to know this is Not my new music & I don’t want to see this happen to anyone else. I cringe when I listen to these songs & I’m concerned my fans may mistakenly believe this is a new release by me. I begin recording my next project at the end of February. I’m feeling inspired creatively & super excited to make more music I’m proud of,” Morgan said in a statement.

Dierks Bentley and Billy Strings hunker down to greet the end of days with some bluegrass jams and weed in the new song “High Note,” a lively romp from Bentley’s upcoming new album.
A brisk, rumbling acoustic guitar riff kicks things off, and the band — featuring Jerry Douglas, Sam Bush, and Bryan Sutton — gets into gear. Bentley senses the possibility of apocalyptic doom and says he has no plans to hide in a bunker. “I’ll be holed up in the basement with two very special guests/A big...

Eric Lindberg and Doni Zasloff, the core of the bluegrass group Nefesh Mountain, had just returned from a family trip to Poland and the Ukraine in 2018 when news broke about a mass shooting at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh. Still emotionally raw from visiting their families’ hometowns in the Carpathian Mountains and paying their respects at sites of the Holocaust, the husband-and-wife songwriters — both of whom are Jewish — were left reeling by the deadly hate crime that claimed 11 lives.

With current guitarist Bryan Sutton, and special guests Sam Bush, Jerry Douglas and Stuart Duncan, the group celebrates their longevity with the release of 40th Anniversary Bash, a live LP recorded during the band’s...

Recording artist, singer and pianist Harry Connick Jr. will be releasing a new album called "Your Songs." The album will be available on vinyl on August 25 and on CD on September 22.
"Your Songs" consists of Connick singing familiar songs backed by a full jazz big band and string orchestra. Along with writing the orchestrations himself, Connick recruited Branford and Wynton Marsalis to play on the album. Bluegrass guitar virtuoso Bryan Sutton also appears as a guest on the album.
"My usual pattern is I either write the songs or pick the songs," Connick says. "Depending on the configuration I arrange, orchestrate, conduct, sing, and then oversee the mixing and mastering. You might say that I'm very hands on."
This is the first album that Connick has teamed up with record company producer Clive Davis. Clive picked the majority of the songs and then Connick arranged and orchestrated them.
