American Horror Story's reinvigorated season 6 is the most entertaining and coherent the show's been in a long while. Spoilers ahead...
Warning: contains spoilers for American Horror Story: Roanoke and American Horror Story: Hotel’s premiere.

It’s easy for a show like American Horror Story to lose its way. Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk's anthology series sets itself the challenge of establishing a weird, off-kilter tone whilst also crafting an engaging and worthwhile story from scratch each year. Arguably since Asylum, that's a challenge it's struggled to achieve.
Freak Show, Hotel and Coven to a lesser extent all fell short of the mark, losing their audiences in a mire of confusing sub-plots, quirky yet inconsequential supporting characters and writing that felt self-satisfied at times. The departure of the show’s secret sauce,...

Croatoan! Sorry. After what seems like years (months, weeks?) of misdirection, the theme for the sixth season of the American Horror Story TV show on FX has finally been revealed (maybe? a little?). An anthology drama series, American Horror Story comes from Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. The season six premiere title card reads American Horror Story: My Roanoke Nightmare. Roanoke Colony was established in the late 16th-century by Sir Walter Raleigh. During the Spanish-American War, the colonists vanished. Each Ahs season tells a self-contained story. Throughout the summer, FX has been proudly trolling the fandom with a couple dozen misleads, to keep the sixth season theme obscured. Season six of American Horror Story: My Roanoke Nightmare stars: Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson (as Shelby Miller), Lily Rabe as Shelby Miller (Actor), Denis O'Hare, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Finn Wittrock, Wes Bentley, Matt Bomer, Lady...

The Toronto Blue Jays might have a strong case for trading Edwin Encarnacion.
Encarnacion, arguably the Jays’ best overall hitter, will be a free agent next year, and can be a good piece of bait for a team that could use a few good prospects in the pitching department.
The Jays expected to contend this year but they sit 8.5 games back of the division leading Yankees and 2.5 games back of the Wild Card leading Angels and Orioles, with nearly the first half of play in the books.
Encarnacion is right near his career prime at age 29 and is on-pace to set career highs in every statistical category. He averaged 13 homeruns in his nine previous seasons, but has hit 22 (second-highest on the team) through only 76 games so far this season. He leads the Blue Jays in batting average too, hitting .291.
While playing as the team’s designated hitter and first baseman,...
