Disney+ has unveiled the first look images for its upcoming documentary series featuring Keanu Reeves as the host and executive producer. The series, titled “Brawn: The Impossible Formula 1 Story”, will tell the remarkable story of how an underdog team defied all odds and won the World Championship in 2009.
The four-part series will follow the journey of Ross Brawn, the former technical director of Ferrari, who bought the Honda team for a symbolic £1 after the Japanese manufacturer pulled out of Formula 1 due to the global financial crisis. Brawn renamed the team as Brawn Gp and hired drivers Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello, who had been left without a seat.
With a limited budget, a small staff and an untested car, Brawn Gp faced a daunting challenge to compete against the likes of Ferrari, McLaren and Red Bull. However, thanks to Brawn’s brilliant strategy, innovative design and relentless work ethic, the...

John Wick star Keanu Reeves is set to star in and produce both a live-action feature and anime series of his own project ‘Brzrkr’ for Netflix.
Having co-created and co-wrote the series, Reeves’ latest two projects are an expansion of a limited series that the ‘Bill & Ted’ actor has had in development for a number of years.
The story is described as a “brutally epic saga about an immortal warrior’s 80,000-year fight through the ages. The man known only as ‘B’ (Reeves) is half-mortal and half-god, cursed and compelled to violence… even at the sacrifice of his sanity. But after wandering the earth for centuries, B may have finally found a refuge – working for the U.S. government to fight the battles too violent and too dangerous for anyone else. In exchange, B will be granted the one thing he desires – the truth about his endless blood-soaked existence…and how to end it.

The screenplay from writers Stephen Hamel and Chad St. John is condensed to trope after trope and only the final scene leaves any form of intrigue, but it comes far too late with lacklustre uneventful proceedings before. “Passengers” is a futuristic sci-fi movie with a very complicated past. Opening Wednesday and starring Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence as passengers on an intergalactic spaceship who are prematurely thawed out of a cryogenic slumber 90 years before the ship reaches its destination, the project has been gestating in Hollywood since 2007. But the lengthy production history doesn’t seem to have done the movie any favors.

When did you first write this? It was on the Black List in 2007...
Shortly before that. It was a brand new script that had just appeared on the Black List, and was circulating through Hollywood. The Black List is a list voted on by Hollywood producers and studio executives who are choosing their favourite as yet unproduced work.
Initially Keanu Reeves was attached to it, the Weinstein Company were going to do it, then Universal. So you’ve had some real up and downs.
The movie’s been ‘about’ to get made ever since it was written.

Initially Keanu Reeves was attached to it, the Weinstein Company were going to do it, then Universal. So you’ve had some real up and downs.
The movie’s been ‘about’ to get made ever since it was written.
