The 55-year-old presenter has claimed it was as though her entire life had been turned upside down when she decided to end her marriage to her second husband amid reports he'd been unfaithful. Asked if she was open to love again, she said: ''I'd be fibbing if I said there wasn't a part of me that was open to someone coming into my life, but it would be wrong to say that I'm not massively protective of my heart. Will Daniel Day-Lewis be tackling Nick Clegg? Probably not, but here's how it might look
Clegg
Starring Daniel Day-Lewis as Nick Clegg
The 2010 general election. A hung parliament. Political stalemate engulfs the country. Vibrant young politician Nick Clegg is visited by a vision of the Virgin Mary: "Nick," she says. The man who gave us big laughs by creating the most cringeworthy boss in corporate comedy turns the big 5-0 on Saturday. Happy birthday, Ricky Gervais.
For a guy who only hit the big time just a decade ago, The Office genius has packed a whole lot of success into his forties.
To celebrate his 50 years, WENN has come up with 10 fascinating facts you may not know about the British birthday boy...
- Before he became a star, Gervais had a flop music career as part of New Romantic duo Seona Dancing, with his pal Bill Macrae. They released two singles - Bitter Heart and More To Lose. He went on to manage cult British band Suede.
- He has been with his girlfriend, TV producer Jane Fallon, since they met at university in London in 1982. They have never married.
- Ricky won't do just anything for cash - he has turned down a $2 million (£1.25 million) drinks advertisement, a role in Pirates of the Caribbean and a part in Mission: Impossible II.
- He loves animals. As well as outspokenly campaigning for animal rights, he has a cat called Ollie and owned a salamander, named Tel.
- Gervais is a charitable soul - he once raised $8,000 (£5,000) by winning a BBC celebrity boxing match against British businessman Grant Bovey.
- His top three albums of all time are The Bends by Radiohead, David Bowie classic Aladdin Sane and The Smiths' eponymous debut record.
- Ricky hated watching back his role in TV show Alias because he can't stand to see himself acting seriously.
- He offered to help write Prince Harry's best man speech for Prince William's wedding in April.
- Gervais is the only Brit to ever pen an episode of The Simpsons.
- He holds dual British/Canadian citizenship. His dad, Lawrence, emigrated to London from Ontario during World War II.

A boxing promoter named Grant Bovey is reportedly offering Will Smith and Mark Wahlberg $1 million to face-off in the ring on Feb. 26 in Las Vegas. Bovey has successfully organized celebrity matches in the past… though they were hardly A-list affairs (see: Danny Bonaduce vs. Michael Lohan). Despite Bovey’s offer that all proceeds would go to Smith and Wahlberg’s charities of choice, a match between these two movie-trained boxers (Smith for Ali and Wahlberg for The Fighter) seems unlikely to come to fruition.

Actors, who have both played boxers on screen, offered chance to do battle in charity celebrity match next year
It looks set to be the biggest celebrity boxing match since Ricky Gervais took on Grant Bovey: a Us promoter has offered Will Smith and Mark Wahlberg $1m to fight each other in the ring in Las Vegas next year.
For Hollywood A-listers who can command salaries of several million dollars per movie that may not seem like a huge purse, but Damon Feldman of the Hollywood Boxing Federation is counting on the actors' sense of generosity: all the money would go to their favourite charities.
Smith and Wahlberg are obvious candidates to fight for Feldman, who has staged a series of celebrity matches in the past, because both have trained in the pugilistic arts for appearances on film. Smith famously bulked up to play Muhammad Ali in biopic Ali...

3 Eggs per person (as advised by Ben)
Roquefort Cheese
Bombay Mix
Tomatoes
Baked Beans
