UTA has hired prominent hip hop booking agents Caroline Yim and Zach Iser as partners at the agency, the company announced Tuesday, with the two coming over after previously serving as co-heads of hip hop and R&b at WME.

The company didn’t disclose which clients, if any, would be moving over with Yim and Iser to UTA, though their clients have included Doechii, Jhene Aiko, Future and Anderson .Paak among others. The duo, who had been at WME for the past four years, have represented some of the biggest names in Hip-Hop and R&b throughout their careers. It is unclear yet which of their clients will be following them to UTA. Iser is based in Miami and Yim in L.A.

Arnold Schwarzenegger announced a $1 million donation to Los Angeles fire relief on Tuesday.

“I don’t like when companies or rich people ask their fans to make their donations for them,” the actor wrote on social media. His donation will be split between the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, the California Fire Foundation and the L.A. chapter of Habitat for Humanity.

Schwarzenegger also acknowledged that many of his fans have asked him how they can help, and he is therefore selling a shirt based on the knockoff bodybuilding T-shirts that many vendors sell on the Venice Boardwalk.

The Terminator star will donate 100 percent of the shirt’s proceeds to the same three organizations as his personal donation. The Los Angeles Fire Department said Monday afternoon that firefighters successfully extinguished a fire in Griffith Park.

The Lafd said the brush fire was reported at 1:02 p.m. and involved “light grass burning into medium brush on slope.”

Firefighters were on the scene working to “quickly control” the fire, which was south of Griffith Observatory. According to the Los Angeles Times, smoke from the fire could be seen from nearby in Hollywood.

A subsequent update from the Lafd said the fire was fully extinguished in 31 minutes and impacted a quarter of an acre. “All threatened structures were successfully defended and undamaged,” according to the Lafd.

An arson suspect has been taken into custody. No evacuations were ordered.

Griffith Park is home to such L.A. landmarks as Griffith Observatory, the Greek Theatre, the Los Angeles Zoo and the Hollywood Sign. It also contains the Travel Town Museum as well as a merry-go-round.

As wildfires continue to ravage areas of Los Angeles, thousands have tragically lost their homes, including several Hollywood stars.

The fire started Tuesday in Pacific Palisades, before spreading to parts of Malibu and Santa Monica overnight. Though the Palisades and Eaton fires were at zero containment for days, as of Monday, the Palisades Fire was 14 percent contained, while The Eaton fire in Altadena was roughly one-third contained, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.

The Kenneth Fire, which scorched 1,052 acres near the border of Los Angeles and Ventura counties, was fully contained; so was the Hurst fire, which burned 779 acres in the area around Sylmar.

Even though Joshua Jackson’s home was destroyed in the Los Angeles wildfires, the actor says he feels “incredibly lucky.”

“First and most importantly, all the people closest to me affected by the fire are Ok,” he said in a statement shared via his rep. “My daughter, my family, my neighbors all made it out safely. Sadly my beautiful home did not survive the fires. But today, I feel incredibly lucky to be surrounded by the people I love.”

THR has learned that Hopkins and his wife owned two houses in the Palisades, both of which have burned down.

In photos obtained by People magazine, the Pacific Palisades home of the Welsh actor can also be seen burned to the ground with only concrete pillars still standing and a stone pathway at the property.

This is not the first time the actor has endured a property loss due to flames. In 2000, the Oscar winner reportedly lost a home in London to a fire. On Thursday, October 31st, Snoop Dogg revealed the tracklist for his upcoming Dr. Dre-produced album, Missionary, which will include guest appearances by Sting, Eminem, and more. He also dropped the album’s first single, “Gorgeous,” featuring Jhené Aiko.

Due on December 13th via Death Row, Aftermath Entertainment, and Interscope, Missionary will mark Snoop’s first album fully produced by Dre since his 1993 debut, Doggystyle. Spanning 15 tracks, the new album’s guest features will also include Jelly Roll, Method Man, 50 Cent, Dre himself, and more. Tom Petty is also credited on a track called “Last Dance With Mary Jane,” which presumably samples his song “Mary Jane’s Last Dance.” Check out the artwork and full tracklist below.

Snoop Dogg is getting into position for the release of his upcoming album Missionary, out Dec. 13. The rapper recruited Jhené Aiko for “Gorgeous,” the first single from the Dr. Dre-produced LP, which features additional production from Blu2th, Preach Bal4, and FredWreck.

The upbeat track sees Snoop and Aiko swapping vocals. On the chorus, she croons, “Under the skies, stars in your eyes/ This is euphoric/ We can be anything, this is everything/ We do the wildest things ’til six in the mornin’.”

The duo star in buddy comedy “One of Them Days” which takes place over 24 hours where things go from bad to worse. The official synopsis reads: “Best friends and roommates Dreux (Palmer) and Alyssa (Sza) are about to have One of Them Days. When they discover Alyssa’s boyfriend has blown their rent money, the duo finds themselves going to extremes in a comical race against the clock to avoid eviction and keep their friendship intact.”

The 36-year-old superstar announced the third leg of her sold-out Magic Hour Tour with new dates across North America on Monday (September 23).

After 27 sold-out arena shows and 328,000 tickets sold, she is adding seven new stops in major North American cities, along with new co-stars including Jessie Reyez, Shenseea, Umi, Kiana Lede, Tink, and Starzza in Toronto, Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, North Carolina, Florida, and Tennessee.

This is Jhené’s first arena tour in seven years, bringing music from Chilombo to life, which went to No. 2 on the Billboard 200 in 2020.

Nelly Furtado took to Instagram on Saturday to show off her battle scars following a particularly dramatic performance onstage at Coachella.

Fans at the music festival on Saturday saw Furtado trip and fall after joining Dom Dolla to perform their single, “Eat Your Man.” Furtado shared footage of the spill on her own Instagram story later that day.

Also on social media, Furtado shared a photo of her bloodied finger after the performance. “Literally left it all on the stage,” she wrote, “including my blood.”

In footage of the incident, Furtado is seen singing the lyric “movin’ my body like a nympho” just before falling to the floor. She recovers quickly, telling the crowd, “I say it right, now do what I say.”

Grimes took to social media Sunday to apologize for the technical issues during her Coachella performance this weekend.

The singer-songwriter struggled with equipment malfunctions throughout her show Saturday, with problems plaguing the programming of her tracks at the mixing desk that left her screaming into the microphone throughout the second half of her set.

“The cdjs were showing me bpms like 370 so I couldn’t even mix manually by ear and the front monitors were off so it was literally sonic chaos on my end trying to guess how stuff was sounding for u guys,” she explained on X (formerly Twitter).

Her statement also explained she outsourced certain aspects of the performance “to save time.”
