Matthew Charles Chase is an Emmy Award winning and 7-time Emmy nominated director/producer. He began his career at HBO, where he helped produce some of the sports world's most iconic series such as "24/7" and "Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel". In 2016, he assisted in producing "Terence Crawford: My Fight" which was a brand new concept series for HBO's Sports department. "My Fight" was nominated for an Emmy in the category of Outstanding Short Documentary. Between 2018 and 2019, he produced four different "24/7" series, all of which were nominated for Emmys, including "24/7: Kelly Slater" which won the prize for Outstanding Edited Sports Special. In 2021, Matt produced two films for A&E's Biography series as a part of their partnership with WWE (Mick Foley and The Ultimate Warrior) and in 2022 he produced an ESPN 30 for 30 on the notorious golfer Greg Norman's collapse at the 1996 Masters. Matt spent 2023 working on an unnamed Elvis Presley documentary as well as a NASCAR series that will both air on Netflix in late 2023 and early 2024, respectively.
