Ethel May Grist was born circa 1879 in
Melbourne, Australia, and died in Jun. 1959, in Perth, Western
Australia.
She married Francis Xavier Cullenane on Jun. 29th 1905, in South
Melbourne, Australia. Francis was an actor, casting agent and stage
manager who had a small role in the 1906, film 'Ned Kelly' - which was
the first feature length movie ever produced.
Although she had been on the stage from very young age, after her
husband Francis died in 1919, she left the theatre/film industry,
remarried and never performed again.
