Scott E. Rosenblatt has been editing short films and projects for over
ten years. He received his cinema studies degree at Illinois State
University (1998), and also studied at Columbia College in Chicago
(1996-1997).
"The Midnight Show", a documentary about the Rocky Horror Picture Show, brought Scott acclaim at several Chicago film festivals. Scott attended the American Film Institute where he edited ten short films in two years, receiving his MFA in 2003. His AFI thesis films have won more than twenty awards and have been screened at film festivals across the world.
In 2006 he co-edited the award-winning short "Transgressions" for AFI's Directing Women's Workshop and co-edited the award-winning documentary "Divided We Fall: Americans In The Aftermath". He also worked on several reality TV shows (for VH1 and CMT) making a living working as an assistant editor.
In 2007 he moved back to Chicago to work in post-production for The Oprah Winfrey Show.
