Conservative MP Christopher Pope has been criticised for referring to waiters and waitresses in the House of Commons dining room as "servants". In the exchange, published in Hansard, the member for Christchurch, suggested cheaper prices to "ensure maximum utilisation" of the dining rooms on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.
