We have already talked about Chapter 256 of Jujutsu Kaisen, which was officially released today. Earlier this week, the leaks gave us an insight into the story of the new character, as well as the fact that Akutami is taking a break once again, but now that the character has been properly released we can analyze it in more detail. And while Chapter 256 was more or less a standard chapter in a series of similar ones – the heroes are fighting Sukuna – this one did reveal one interesting thing about the series’ protagonist, Yuji Itadori. Namely, after 256 chapters, we finally found out that Yuji is able to use Piercing Blood, which means that Blood Manipulation is his Inherited (most probably) Technique.
In the chapter, this revelation comes when Sukuna is seemingly ready to kill Choso, but Yuji intervenes with Blood Manipulation and continues to fight against Sukuna, managing to get the upper...

Nominations for the 39th Annual Lucille Lortel Awards were announced today by Amber Iman and George Abud, two stars of Broadway’s “Lempicka.” The Lortels honor outstanding achievement in Off-Broadway theater. The 2024 ceremony will take place on Sunday, May 5 at NYU Skirball Center. The Lucille Lortel Awards are produced by the Off-Broadway League and Lucille Lortel Theatre, with additional support provided by Tdf.
It’s common for productions to begin their life Off-Broadway before transferring to the Main Stem, so many of this year’s Tony Awards hopefuls are among the list of Lortel nominations. Chief among these contenders is “Hell’s Kitchen,” the semi-autobiographical musical from Alicia Keys. That tuner garnered five Lortel nominations. These include Best Musical, Best Choreography for Camille A. Brown, a Lead Performer bid for Maleah Joi Moon, and Featured Performer bids for Shoshana Bean and Kecia Lewis. All performance categories at the Lortel Awards are gender neutral.

The leaks for the upcoming Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 256 are finally out in Japan and we get to know what happens in the thrilling upcoming chapter of Gege Akutami’s popular manga series. Last week’s chapter was a fight chapter that saw the return of several characters – including Yuji, Choso, and Maki – to the fight. And while Miguel and Larue are done, Sukuna also suffers some damage and it seems that the Black Flash moment was just… a tease, as Sukuna still hasn’t regained any of his powers and it seems that he is on the path to losing, as far as this chapter is concerned.
This one was, more or less, a fighting chapter as well. It starts off, interestingly, with a flashback of Satoru Gojo explaining the Black Flash and some of the characteristics of this technique. The manga soon switches back to Sukuna, who seems to be in the zone,...

Jujutsu Kaisen is getting more interesting with each chapter. Since Ryomen Sukuna began his rampage, people have been skeptical of the King of Curses’ true powers. But as time passed, his number of kills increased. He killed Satoru Gojo during the battle of the strongest. After killing Kashimo Hajime, he gained his original form from thousand years ago, and since then, it has been a one-man show.
Yuta Okkotsu and Yuji Itadori formed a great tag team, but it was not enough to put down the King of the Curses. With Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 255 knocking on the door, fans have already welcomed the spoilers. The spoilers featured a strong Jujutsu sorcerer entering the battlefield and fighting Sukuna. He was last seen in Jujutsu Kaisen 0.

The leaks for the upcoming Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 255 are finally out in Japan and we get to know what happens in the thrilling upcoming chapter of Gege Akutami’s popular manga series. The last chapter, released a week ago, foreshadowed the fight between Sukuna and Miguel, who made a surprising return to the manga, but this new chapter reveals that many other characters will return as the series continues with its usual formula: Sukuna fights and defeats a character, that character is saved, a new one appears, and the cycle repeats itself. All the while, we have no idea what happens to the others and how they are being healed in the background.
So, what is actually going on in this chapter? Well, there are no major surprises, to be honest. Miguel managed to save Ui Ui, as expected, but Larue’s return has also been confirmed, as the two...

Debuting on the Monday, February 26 episode of “General Hospital,” where she’ll portray the newly created character, Natalia Rogers-Ramirez, actress Eva Larue is no stranger to daytime television, nor is she an unfamiliar face in the halls of the Prospect Studios where the daytime drama tapes in Hollywood.
In a recent interview with former Soap Opera Digest editor-in-chief Stephanie Sloane for TV Insider, Larue talks about her return to daytime after previously portraying Dr. Maria Santos Grey on “All My Children” and Celeste Rosales on “The Young and the Restless,” where she won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Performer, getting to see some of her former Pine Valley co-stars, and what it’s like working alongside people she’s known for years but had yet to share scenes with on-screen, until now.

Soap alum Eva Larue, who became a fan favorite playing All My Children’s Maria Santos Grey on ABC on and off from 1993 to 2011, will make her General Hospital debut on February 26 as Blaze’s mother, Natalia Rogers-Ramirez. And though she’s been a working actress for nearly 40 years, Larue admits she had some trepidation before starting her new gig. “I do still get nervous,” she shares. “Of all the different genres, soaps are by far the hardest, I think, because there’s an element of theater to it; there’s no stop-and-go like in nighttime television or in a feature film. There’s no getting to do it again unless there’s some major technical difficulty, so there’s that flying-by-the-seat-of-your-pants kind of feel to it, and it’s also so much dialogue, which is a little anxiety-producing, especially when you’re jumping back into it again after a bunch of years break.

As reported by TVLine, Larue will make her first appearance on the long-running soap on Monday, February 26. She will portray Blaze’s (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) mom, Natalia Rogers-Ramirez. Her arrival comes just as Blaze begins a relationship with Kristina (Kate Mansi), which could lead to some family tension. Blaze has yet to open up about her sexual orientation because of her concerns about how it could hurt her career and potentially upset her family. Larue was a regular cast member on All My Children from 1993 to 1998 and then again from 2002 to 2005. She made sporadic appearances in 2010 and 2011. The recap of the anime series Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 23 begins where the Episode 22 has ended. Yuki currently questions "Geto" about recalling their conversation from eleven years ago. Both of them desired to establish a world where cursed spirits cease to exist. Despite the approach, Yuki is certain that humans will progress to their next stage, which, in her view, involves breaking free from cursed energy. Pseudo-Geto contends that the advancement can only occur through optimizing cursed energy. Yuji, partially frozen and utterly bewildered, admits his lack of comprehension of either method and wonders about Yuki's identity.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Finale RecapGeto asserts that he believed Yuki abandoned her method when Toji Zenin died. Yuki counters, highlighting a significant flaw in Pseudo-Geto's approach, stating that only the people of Japan can benefit from Tengen and the optimization of cursed energy. She warns that a monopoly on cursed energy in Japan...

Exclusive: Award-winning House of Sand & Fog filmmaker Vadim Perelman has been attached to direct the movie Marinus, we hear, about the heroic rescue of 14K Korean evacuees by sea toward the end of the Korean War.
Adapted by J. Craig Stiles (Miranda’s Victim) off the book Ship of Miracles, Marinus follows a merchant marine captain, who along with a Korean doctor, commanded a ship that was rated to carry 65 passengers and ended up saving thousands – all while being pursued by enemy subs, fighter planes and contending with a Communist spy on board.
Despite the odds, not one soul perished. In fact, five babies were born during the journey, and they arrived safely at a South Korean harbor on Christmas Day. The captain was so touched by the experience that he later became a Benedictine monk. He has passed on, but is currently up for sainthood with the Catholic Church.

Due to the unfortunate relevancy of school shootings in American society, it’s no wonder that we’ve been seeing more and more films about this subject matter. However, while several films and TV series have primarily focused on students and how such atrocities have affected their lives, Michael Shannon’s directorial debut, Eric Larue, which premiered last week at the Tribeca Film Festival, takes a very different path.
Instead, the film tells the story of a grieving mother whose high school son committed a school shooting and murdered three students in the process. She and her husband use religion to cope with this tragic event, but when they realize that their approaches to recovery are completely different, they become completely at odds with each other, arguing and criticizing the other’s approaches to dealing with the situation.

To those who don’t obsessively watch TCM, or generally eschew movies made before 1980, Rock Hudson is little more than a factoid, best remembered for his sexuality than for the movies he made. And yet, while Hudson today is known as a gay man, it was something that he did his best to keep hidden and, as Stephen Kijak lays out towards the end of his HBO documentary, would have taken to the grave if he could have.
“Rock Hudson: All That Heaven Allowed” is in the vein of other prominent documentaries aimed at telling the real story behind the Old Hollywood façade, including HBO’s most recent “The Last Movie Stars.” The revelations within the documentary’s 104-minute runtime aren’t revolutionary, but seek to give viewers an authentic look at a man whose life so often was swathed in artifice.

Michael Shannon has turned the tables on me.
I’m supposed to be the one conducting the interview, but he’s more interested in what I saw at Cannes. “What did I like?” he wonders. “What was worth watching?” And to hear his probing questions, delivered in the low rumble and unvarnished intensity with which Shannon threatens Superman in “Man of Steel,” momentarily makes my mind go completely blank. What the hell did I watch over there? I manage to conjure up a few films — “Zone of Interest” and “May December,” the title of which I can’t quite grab onto and rechristen as “the Todd Haynes one.” And with that out of the way we’re off, pausing for a few minutes halfway through so Shannon can tell his kid to get ready for a sleepover while he makes him something to eat.

Hutchins was killed in October 2021 after a prop gun held by Baldwin discharged a real bullet, injuring director Joel Souza before fatally wounding Hutchins.

The man who has stalked and harassed “CSI: Miami” actress Eva Larue for 12 years and also threatened to “rape, molest, and kill” her daughter was sentenced to 40 months in federal prison on Friday, the Central District of California U.S. Attorney’s office announced.
James David Rogers, 58, of Heath, Ohio, was sentenced by United States District Judge John A. Kronstadt. He had earlier pled guilty to two counts of mailing threatening communications, one count of threats by interstate communications, and two counts of stalking.

An Ohio stalker – who called himself “Freddy Krueger” – has been sentenced to prison for a “12-year campaign of harassment” against CSI: Miami star Eva Larue and her daughter.
James David Rogers, 58, was sentenced to 3 and a half years in federal prison on Thursday (8 September) in US District Court in Los Angeles.
The sentencing follows nearly three years after his arrest for stalking Larue (best known for her roles in CSI: Miami and All My Children) and her young daughter since March 2007.
Larue’s daughter was five years old when Rogers began violently threatening her.
In a sentencing memorandum, as reported by Law & Crime, prosecutors noted that Rogers signed letters that he sent Larue as “Freddy Krueger”, the fictional, supernatural serial killer from the horror film A Nightmare on Elm Street.
An investigation found approximately 37 threatening letters that Rogers mailed Larue and her daughter, including one in June 2015, which read: “I...

A man was sentenced today in Los Angeles to 40 months in federal prison for his 12-year campaign of harassment — via letters and phone calls — against actress Eva Larue and her daughter in which he threatened them with torture, rape and death.

Rogers pleaded guilty in April to two counts of mailing threatening communications, one count of threats by interstate communications and two counts of stalking.
According to court documents, from March 2007 until his arrest in November 2019, Rogers stalked, threatened, and harassed Eva Larue, an actress whose credits include The Young & the Restless — for which she won a daytime Emmy in 2020 — CSI: Miami, Santa Barbara and All My Children, and her daughter — who was 5 years old when the campaign of terror began.
