British singer-songwriter Maxi Jazz, the member of the English band ‘Faithless’, has died at the age of 65. A statement shared on the Insomnia singer’s Instagram said: “We are heartbroken to say Maxi Jazz died peacefully at his home in South London last night.”
“He was a man who changed our lives in so many ways. He gave proper meaning and message to our music. He was also a lovely human being with time for everyone and a wisdom that was both profound and accessible. It was an honour and, of course, a true pleasure to work with him.”

Legendary British dance act Faithless have split after 15 years. The trio, Maxi Jazz, Sister Bliss and Rollo Armstrong, formed in 1995 and went on to rule the club scene in Europe with massive hits including "Insomnia" and "We Come 1".
Keyboard player Sister Bliss recently hinted the bandmates had become "jaded" by their lengthy tours, and now Maxi has confirmed that the group has split. Faithless have revealed that their recent performance at Glastonbury was an emotional experience. The dance trio, who played at the summer festival for a second time, admitted that they never thought they would be asked back after their 2002 gig. Faithless want to collaborate with Sylvester Stallone. The "God Is a Dj" dance act have revealed their collaboration wish list, with actor Sylvester Stallone making a surprise appearance. When questioned rapper Maxi Jazz, real name Maxwell Alexander Fraser, revealed the Hollywood hard man would be his dream singing partner. He said, "If I could collaborate with anyone, it would probably be Sly Stone."
The other half of the dance act, DJ Sister Bliss, made a less surprising choice, admitting her admiration for Bjork and Kate Bush.
