One of the standout scenes in the latest trailer of House of the Dragon season 2 is where Alicent stops Aemond from going too far. Yes, the Greens want to win the war, but as his mother says, “Not like this.”
This sudden change in Alicent’s stance leaves something to be desired in fans as they piece together supposed situations in the second season of the show. New images from the previews and set prove that Alicent is not completely on board with Aemond’s insidious plans for the upcoming war for the throne.

Images of Aemond and Alicent together show Aegon’s catspaw dagger on Aemond’s belt. With that sinister smirk on his face, it definitely looks like Aemond is getting the upper hand in every situation. Ewan Mitchell has already claimed that his character is taking the war to another level.

This article contains spoilers for the book Fire & Blood and therefore likely spoilers for House of the Dragon season 2.
The long wait for footage from House of the Dragon season 2 has been dark and full of terrors. But that all came to an end when HBO finally released the first official House of the Dragon season 2 trailer following the show’s appearance at CCXP23 in São Paulo, Brazil. Give it a watch below.
Typically, teasers released for TV shows that do not have release dates yet (which House of the Dragon season 2 still does not … just a “Summer 2024” window) are not particularly revealing. But HBO’s wildly successful Game of Thrones prequel isn’t just any typical show without a release date. To the untrained eye, there might not be a lot of plot to latch onto in this 90 seconds. Thankfully, here aren’t too many untrained eyes when it...

The year is 1943. You are part of a team of crack vampire commandos with one mission: drink all of Hitler’s blood. This simple but ingenious pitch is the premise for the upcoming tabletop RPG Eat the Reich from publisher Rowan Rook and Decard.
This action-heavy horror-comedy game is being designed by Grant Howitt, whose writing credits include Honey Heist, Heart: The City Beneath and Orc Borg, with art by Will Kirkby, who has drawn comics in set in the world of the popular actual play series Critical Role.
In order to get the scoop on the game, which just hit Kickstarter, we chatted with both Will Kirkby and Grant Howitt about their creative process.
Bd: Eat the Reich now features a large cast of colorful characters and horrific enemies set in a fully realized version of Nazi-occupied Paris, but the seed of the idea came from humble origins.
Howitt: Just entirely the pun.

Final Fantasy 16 doesn’t feature the build and skill tree systems that we’re used to seeing in most Final Fantasy games. Instead, you’ll be asked to choose between up to nine Eikon abilities spread across three Eikon slots. At first, choosing between those abilities feels like a simple and sometimes obvious process. Once more Eikon options become available, though, you’ll find that it’s actually surprisingly difficult to properly unlock and test all of your abilities. Obviously, that’s why we’re here to help.
Before we get on with these rankings, though, please note that the best abilities in the game can be combo/situation dependant. Some are certainly better than others, but even “lesser” abilities can be useful in certain parts of the game. As such, don’t ignore certain abilities while you’re waiting to unlock better ones. You can always refund an ability and replace it as needed.

Alita: Battle Angel star Keean Johnson has joined as a new series regular and a trio of actors – Vivienne Guynn, Chad Rook and Aadila Dosani – have been promoted from recurring to series regulars.
