Lisa Battocchio was born in Bassano del Grappa, Italy in October 1996. Her passion for Chinese culture and film marked all of her choices from a tender age: she studied Mandarin in high school and later on flew to China to attend Beijing Film Academy. She graduated in 2021 in Cinematography with a Specialization in Directing.
She started out her career in filmmaking as an AD and PA in small projects and independent productions both in China and Italy and she directed and wrote a couple of short films; "Cochlea", her graduation film, was selected at the "Bute Street Festival", "LA International Horror Film Fest", "Blow-Up Film Fest" and winner as best director at the "Sur-Reel and Uncanny Film Festival", among other festivals.
Apart from directing, she took part in Chinese independent action short films as a stunt performer, such as "Ad Perpetuam Memoriam" directed by Zhang Guang. Early last year she worked as a daily stunt in "Fast and Furious X".
