- The Greatest All-Round Horse That Ever Lived
- Fritz the Horse was born in 1907. He was an actor, known for The Narrow Trail (1917). He died on February 6, 1938 in California, USA.
- Red and white pinto gelding bought by William S. Hart from Thomas H. Ince, he appeared with Hart in all his films from 1914-1924, beginning with The Bargain (1914). He even received fan letters, and had his own fan club (one had to own a pinto to join). Hart claimed that Fritz was the only horse that "could do and did do anything and everything." Fritz died and is buried at Hart's Newhall, Calfornia ranch, which is a state park.
