Amazon miniTV, a free-of-charge service within the Amazon shopping app and on Fire TV, will next month begin airing short-form teen romance series “Gutar Gu.” The show is produced by Guneet Monga and Sikhya Productions, whose “The Elephant Whisperers” recently won the Oscar for best documentary short.

BTS will be the focus of a new Disney docuseries titled “BTS Monuments: Beyond the Star,” showcasing the launch and history of the South Korean boyband. The film drops on Disney+ on Wednesday, Dec. 20.

K-pop stars BTS are teaming up with the Walt Disney Company through their studio Hybe to produce five new streaming projects, including three exclusive series featuring band members, the group announced via a Twitter video.

K-Pop superstars BTS are getting into business with The Walt Disney Company.
The Korean band have lined up a number of projects with Disney including a docuseries and a concert film. The projects come out of a wide-ranging agreement between BTS studio Hybe and The Walt Disney Asia Pacific, out of its Korean division.
The content will air on Disney’s global streaming services, including Disney+, but the company hasn’t determined where they will live in the U.S.
Projects including concert film BTS: Permission To Dance On Stage – LA, filmed at the Sofi stadium in November, BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star, a docuseries following the band that includes music rights and footage over the past nine years. The latter will launch next year.

Two shows featuring Korean pop icons BTS are set to play on Disney’s international streaming platforms, following a content agreement between The Walt Disney Company Asia Pacific and management group Hybe Corporation.
“This will be the start of a long-term collaboration, where we present worldwide audiences a wide range of Hybe content for fans who love our music and artists,” said Park Ji-won, CEO of Hybe.
The agreement “to showcase creative excellence from South Korea’s music and entertainment industry” includes global distribution of a total of five major titles. To date only three have been disclosed.
