Mahim Joshi is an Indian Writer, Director, Producer with an experience of over 3 decades.
His current released work in the capacity of a director is a web series titled Pill, a Pharma Drama on Jio Cinema, featuring Ritesh Deshmukh, Pavan Malhotra and others.
And recent writing work (under production) is a film titled Saakshi (adaptation of a Tamil film Aruvi) for Applause entertainment and faith Films, besides a biopic on an Olympian Dutee Chand.
He started learning from his teens along with his studies, by assisting in direction. 1st Project being a Hindi feature film titled Chandramukhi, featuring Salman Khan and Sridevi.
Thereafter he assisted eminent directors like Ketan Mehta, Pankaj Parashar etc on top notch Hindi films featuring actors like Shahrukh Khan, Manisha Koirala, Jackie Shroff, Sanjay Dutt, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Naseeruddin shah, Amrish Puri and many others.
In the capacity of writing his 1st independent work was for Ketan Mehta films' anthology series 'Baat ek Raaz Ki' on Sony Entertainment.
Thereafter, his 1st independent work as a Director was another anthology titled Kagaar for Sahara TV in year 2000, followed by directing Dhadkan a medical drama on Sony Entertainment, where he collaborated with topmost talents of the Indian Films, writers like Ritesh Shah and cinematographers like K.U. Mohanan, C.K. Muralidharan, Sachin Krishn, Hemant Chaturvedi, Hari Nayar and actors like Pankaj Kapoor, KK Menon, Sanjay Mishra etc.
The journey continued in all the creative aspects from Writing, Directing, Creative Direction, Editing etc on all the top Indian satellite channels like Star Plus, Zee TV, Sony, MTV, Zing, Zoom, Epic, Disney Star's Bindaas, Reliance's Big Magic, Sab TV, Colors among others with actors ranging from Irrfan Khan, Karan Singh Grover, Sushant Singh, Reema Lagoo, Pavan Malhotra, Bipasha Basu, Prashant Narayanan, Ram Kapoor etc.
His 1st Production was a short film featuring Sonu Sood and Raj Singh Chaudhry directed by Raj Kumar Gupta. Thereafter he produced a TV series titled Ring Wrong Riing on Sab Tv featuring actors like Asif Sheikh, Rakesh Bedi etc, and his journey as producer continued on various TV series, Documentaries etc with the eminent talent like Vivek Oberoi, Ashutosh Rana, Ravi Kishen, Ratna Pathak Shah, Supriya Pathak among others for various networks.
In the interim he had headed new programs development and commissioning for Sab TV.
