Priya Chaudhari grew up in Jacksonville, Florida before moving to Plano, Texas. Her parents, Sonal and Rajesh Chaudhari are both Indian immigrants, her father is a computer engineer and her mother is an interior designer and esthetician. Priya attended the University of North Texas and graduated with a bachelor's in Media Arts studies and minors in Theatre and Spanish in 2022. There, she developed an understanding and love for the intricacies of filmmaking, as well as wrote, starred, and directed in a variety of university projects.
Back in India, her mother was an avid performer on stage as an actor and dancer and encouraged Priya to perform from a young age. She was 3 years-old the first time she performed and as she grew, was involved in a variety of arts throughout her childhood. She trained in the dance Bharatanatyam for 5 years as well as a variety of folk and Bollywood dances. Additionally, she has been training in Hindustani Shashtriya Sangeet for 8+ years.
