Exclusive: Fresh from breathing new life into the BBC’s Top Gear franchise, host Andrew Flintoff is changing gears with a highly personal BBC One documentary on his battle with bulimia.
After a distinguished career as an England cricket player, Flintoff has carved out a new profession as a TV star, where he has become known for clowning around with James Corden on Sky’s A League of Their Own, and bringing his ultra-competitive spirit to the rebooted Top Gear.

Musical drama Wild Rose, featuring a breakout performance from Jessie Buckley, leads the pack at this year’s Bafta Scotland awards with three nominations.
Tom Harper’s film about a troubled young mother from Glasgow who dreams of being a country singer picked up a best actress nod for Screen Star of Tomorrow Buckley, best writer for Nicole Taylor and a nomination for best feature film.
The film took £2.89m at the UK box office when it was released in April, following a strong reaction at its Toronto world premiere.

Kristin Scott Thomas-fronted documentary My Grandparents’ War is set to travel the world after distributor Drg took the rights to the C4 series.
The four-part series, produced by British indie Wild Pictures, sees Hollywood stars including The English Patient star Scott Thomas and Bridge of Spies star Mark Rylance re-trace the footsteps of their grandparents in World War Two. It was commissioned to mark the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of the war.
The doc took the pair to historic locations – from the beaches of Dunkirk to prisoner of war
camps in Asia. Two other stars are set to appear in other episodes. It will explore how six years changed the lives of their family and the world forever. In each episode, the actors will learn about the life and death decisions their grandparents faced.
