Billy Idol and Avril Lavigne performed their collaborative single “77” on Monday night (April 28th) on Jimmy Kimmel Live! The song appears on Idol’s new album, Dream Into It.

The TV performance comes just as Idol is set to kick off the first leg of his North American tour with Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. Well, I’ll be. Edwin McCain, the singer/songwriter behind the 1990s hit song “I’ll Be,” was the latest celebrity to be revealed on Season 13 of Fox’s “The Masked Singer.” On the show’s Wednesday episode, McCain was unmasked as Nessy after performing “Million Reasons,” by Lady Gaga.

“Honestly, I’ve done so many different things in my career, like we’ve landed on an aircraft carrier off the coast of Korea and played for the sailors on board,” he told Variety of why he did the show. “We’ve been to Djibouti, Africa and Bahrain, and we’ve played every state in the US, except for Alaska. If life be an adventure, this certainly falls in that category. I was like, of course, I’ll do that.

The Masked Singer is back!

The Quarterfinals of season 13 of the hit Fox singing competition series aired on Wednesday night (April 23).

The show, which began in South Korea, features celebrities singing songs while wearing costumes and face masks concealing their identities until they’re eliminated. Throughout the season, the contestants provide clues to try and help the judges and fans figure out who is under the mask.

This season includes the new costumed character Detective Lucky Duck, who will help panelists “uncover who’s behind each mask.”

During the episode, contestants Boogie Woogie, Mad Scientist Monster, Nessy, Pearl, and Coral hit the stage for another performance.

While on stage, Coral performed “Sker Boi” by Avril Lavigne.

Billy Idol has unveiled the latest single from his forthcoming album, Dream Into It, which is set for release this Friday (April 25th). The rock legend has teamed up with Avril Lavigne on the song “77.”

The tune is the second single from Idol’s new LP. following “Still Dancing,” which was released at the time of the album announcement in late February.

“77” falls more in the musical realm of Lavigne than Idol, with its infectious pop-punk sound. Lavigne gets the vocals started on the first verse, and is soon joined by Idol, as the pair duet on the chorus. Idol then takes lead on the second verse, with Lavigne joining in shortly thereafter.

The Voice Season 27 continued the third stage of the competition on Monday with the third installment of "Knockouts" performances. In this round, each coach will set four head-to-head matchups from their team and will be forced to choose only four winners. While they won't be able to save any of the losers from their own team, each coach will have a Steal to bring a loser from another team with them to "The Playoffs." By the end of the round's 16 performances, 20 artists will remain in the competition.

One hallmark of this round is that the artists get to choose their own song to perform rather than have it selected by their coach, as was done in the "Battles." Another is that without guest mentors assisting during rehearsals, it's the first time that John Legend, Kelsea Ballerini, Michael Bublé and Adam Levine get to work one-on-one with the artists on their team.

The autobiographical song calls back to one of Idol’s biggest hits (“Dancing with Myself”) and charts his musical journey, from humble punk roots to rockstar status. Sublime is coming to Vans Warped Tour DC, 30 years after headlining its first edition. On Monday, the band — which reunited last year with Bradley Nowell’s son Jakob — announced that they’ll be performing at the Washington, D.C. edition of the festival in June.

Sublime and Warped Tour announced that the “Santeria” band is joining the lineup by sharing a throwback Kevin Lyman interview about the band being banned for a week from the first tour after Sublime’s dog kept biting people and the group’s friends were being unruly on the road.

Exclusive: Aaron Holliday (Cocaine Bear), Jermaine Fowler (Sorry to Bother You), Michael Abbott Jr. (Fallout) and Sean Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy) have wrapped on Appofeniacs, an indie horror film from writer-director Chris Marrs Piliero.

Appofeniacs is a riff on the term “apophenia” which is the tendency to find connections or patterns in things that are unrelated or random — common examples being confirmation bias and paranoia. This marks the feature debut for Piliero, who is known for his music video work with Ariana Grande, Britney Spears, Avril Lavigne, Kesha, and The Black Keys (for which he won an MTV VMA).

Piliero independently financed and produced the film, which also stars Will Brandt, Paige Searcy, Simran Jehani, Harley Bronwyn, and Sean Wing. Gunn exec produced the pic, with Salvatore Schiavone and Jonathan Voluck handling casting.

Previously seen in Universal’s horror comedy Cocaine Bear, Holliday has also been seen on HBO’s Euphoria and Sharp Objects.

It’s Bonnaroo’s turn to unveil its 2025 lineup, and what a weird and wonderful collection of artists they’ve brought together to perform at the Manchester, Tennessee, music festival from June 12th to 15th.

Olivia Rodrigo, Tyler, the Creator, Hozier, and Luke Combs top the 2025 bill, but it’s the undercard where the magic really lies. Notable names include Queens of the Stone Age, Megadeth, Justice, Avril Lavigne, Tyla, Goose, Modest Mouse, Glass Animals, Beabadoobee, Mj Lenderman, The Lemon Twigs, Raye, Foster the People, Jpegmafia, Nelly, Jack’s Mannequin, Natasha Bedingfield, Marcus King, Royel Otis, and Mannequin Pussy. Plus, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard will be playing three (!) separate sets over the course of the weekend, and Remi Wolf will be hosting a 1970’s Pool Party-themed SuperJam. And all of that’s without mentioning Insane Clown Posse (!!), who are set to make their Bonnaroo debut. Yes, Bonnaroovians and Juggalos, together at last.

The four-day event will take place June 12-15 on the 700-acre Bonnaroo Farm in Manchester, Tennessee, located about 60 miles southeast of Nashville. Others set to perform include Vampire Weekend, GloRilla, Tyla, Raye, Avril Lavigne, Queens of the Stone Age, John Summit, Justice, Dom Dolla, Glass Animals and The Red Clay Strays.

Tickets go on sale Thursday. Last year’s event was headlined by Post Malone, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fred Again and Pretty Lights.

This year’s festival will have more than 10 stages and will debut the first Roo Residency with King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, featuring performances across three sets over three days.

The 2025 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival lineup has been announced!

The acclaimed camping and music festival will take place June 12-15, 2025 on the Bonnaroo Farm, located just 60 miles southeast of Nashville in Manchester, Tenn.

Bonnaroo 2025 will feature artists performing across 10 unique stages over the four-day festival, including headliners like Luke Combs on Thursday, Tyler, The Creator on Friday, Olivia Rodrigo on Saturday, and Hozier on Sunday.

Bonnaroo tickets go on sale Thursday, January 9 beginning at 10 a.m. Ct exclusively via bonnaroo.com. The lineup for Boston Calling 2025 has been announced, with Luke Combs, Fall Out Boy, and Dave Matthews Band topping the billing as this year’s headliners.
