Steve Douglas-Craig is an accomplished entertainment executive, creative strategist, and screenwriter with a proven track record of driving over $1.5 billion in studio revenue across film and television.
A graduate of the American Film Institute Conservatory (MFA, Screenwriting), Steve was recruited immediately after graduation by Sony Pictures Entertainment. At Sony's Worldwide Acquisitions division, he played a key role in the development, packaging, and global distribution of critical and commercial hits including Django Unchained, The Book of Eli, Terminator: Salvation, Manchester by the Sea, Whiplash, Don't Breathe, the Insidious franchise, and more. He also contributed to acclaimed television releases like House of Cards and The Tudors.
Promoted to Creative Executive at Screen Gems (Sony Pictures), Steve expanded his leadership in content development, guiding the launch of major theatrical releases such as The Unholy, Brightburn, Searching, and Possession of Hannah Grace. His expertise in creative development, content packaging, and distribution strategy consistently attracted top-tier financing, talent, and global audiences.
In parallel to his executive work, Steve has built a strong creative career as a professional screenwriter, including as a freelance staff writer on CBS's hit series Hawaii Five-O. He continues to develop original series and feature projects through top literary management representation in Los Angeles.
