Amani Martin is a multiple Emmy-Award winning Producer and Director,
and founder of Peaceful Warrior Productions. A former Director of
Production for HBO Sports, Amani now specializes in the development and
production of documentaries and documentary series; commercials and
commercial campaigns; and cutting-edge branding entertainment for major
companies. In 2012, he was a producer and writer on "Benji," the tragic
story of the life and tragic death of Chicago high school basketball
legend, Ben Wilson. "Benji," directed by Coodie and Chike, was part of
ESPN's acclaimed "30 for 30" series, and an official selection of the
2012 Tribeca, Chicago International, and Urban World Film Festivals.
Amani is a member of the Production Executives group of the Academy of
the Television Arts and Sciences, and a board member of the Brooklyn
Navy Yard Development Corporation. The Navy Yard is home to Steiner
Studios, the biggest full-scale television and film production facility
outside of Hollywood.
