- Nelson Aspen was born on July 1, 1963 in West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA. He is an actor, known for Search for Tomorrow (1951), Extra (1994) and The Dictator (1988).

- Nelson received his 4th nomination for The International Media Award from the Publicists Guild of America, to be awarded at the Beverly Hilton on Friday, February 22 prior to the Academy Awards.
- Beginning in October 2007, he joined the team of the New Zealand morning program (coincidentally named) "Sunrise" on TV3. As their Hollywood correspondent, he brought bi-weekly showbiz reports live from Los Angeles and the popularity of the segment resulted in the segment becoming a daily feature in August 2008.
