Pedro Nicolas Souffrant (born April 23, 1988) is a American comedian and actor of Haitian Descent.
Originally known as a stand-up comedian, he has produced many sold out comedy events in the South Florida! In 2020 he independently produced his first comedy special Part-Time Dad 1 year later the film was curated by Comedian Lil Rel Howery and Streaming on Kwelitv!
Early life Pedro Nicolas Souffrant was born in Miami on April 23, 1988, the son of Pedro Souffrant (died 1997) and Margaret Souffrant. He has 4 older sisters named Fabienne Souffrant, Carla Souffrant (died 2019), Jennifer Souffrant Webster, Laura Souffrant. After (1997) He was raised in a single-parent household by his mother, who worked as a medical coder for various Doctor offices in S. Florida. His father was a percussionist in the Haitian Band Scorpio, he later moved to the United States and passed away due to a tragic accidental explosion at work. Prompting Nick to use humor as a way to cope with the loss of his Best Freind and to never work the man. After the Passing of Nick's Father his mother enrolled him in a new Middle school Indian Ridge. The school was 45 minutes away from his Miami home but Nicks Mother new the school would have better learning materials and Funds for a better educational experience then schools in his area. Nick Graduated from Western High school his mother gave him his 1st car on 1 condition a task to pick up his older sister Laura from work. Laura worked at the Mayfair hotel in Coconut Grove located next door to the world-famous Miami Improv. When nick had to wait for his sister to close down the restaurant, he would sneak into the comedy club where he'd was inspired to do comedy by performers like Eddie Griffen, Dave Chappelle, DL Hugley
Career Nick Started writing jokes at 18 after seeing live performances regularly waiting for his sister to get out of work. the first thing he realized was different jokes had different levels of laughter so before getting on stage he wrote jokes and watched stand-up comedy daily for 3 years to get an understanding of "why are words funny." in 2010 he performed his first set at the National Lampoons in Sunrise fl then began doing every 5 minute open mic sets at the Miami Improv Ft Lauderdale Improv & palm Beach Improv for 6 years before getting a paid gig by the club but he has been a regular ever since. Working his way up from hosting, to feature act, to headlining and producing his own shows. After several sold out shows nick realized the comedy club can only fit 400-600 people per show and he could reach more people in different markets if he filmed his jokes. Nick filmed his 1st special Part time dad at the Miami Improv 2020 and submitted the film to streaming service KweliTv they replied unknown to Nick comedian Lil Rel Howery was curating the comedy content and loved the authenticity in nicks story telling part time dad was quickly added to the platform a doing shows with Howery and other comedians Nick has traveled to London U.K. to New York Texas Georgia California building an online fan base so he can produce and distribute his second special Outta Pocket filmed at the Dania Beach Improv

In Jan 2014, Nick met his current wife at the Hollywood Improv (FL) mid set they dated a month later and 2 years later after quitting his job nick booked all small theater in ft Lauderdale performed and proposed. Nick and Brittany got married in Cuba May 31, 2019
