"Caddyshack" started out as a straightforward coming-of-age comedy about a young guy working as a caddie on the links of a posh golf club; by the time it reached the screen, it had become a summit meeting between three comic heavyweights of the time. There was Chevy Chase, the former star of "Saturday Night Live;" Bill Murray, the then-current star of the show; and Rodney Dangerfield, the stand-up legend whose club in New York helped launch the career of many comedians like Jerry Seinfeld and Jim Carrey. There was also a gopher that looked remarkably like a hand puppet, but the coming-of-age stuff was largely relegated to filler by the antics of its three stars.
After the huge success of "National Lampoon's Animal House," Harold Ramis and Douglas Kennedy decided to take the riotous underdog formula to the links. They'd both had experience at golf clubs as teenagers and, together...

It was a “Battle of the Semi Finals” on “The Masked Singer” airing Thursday, November 24. Harp, Lambs and Snowstorm had each taken out the competition in their respective rounds and went head-to-head in the first ever three-way Battle Royale. After performing “Thinking of You” by Katy Perry and “Since U Been Gone” by Kelly Clarkson, it was Snowstorm that came up short of reaching the Season 8 finale, revealing herself to be comedian Nikki Glaser.
“It was the first dream that I ever had,” the actress told host Nick Cannon during her unmasked interview. “It was squashed at such a young age and it just became something that was unattainable to me. When this opportunity came up it was so perfect. I think what held me back is that everyone knew I was a comedian, so everyone was like, ‘Don’t sing, no one wants to hear that. It’s like Michael Jordan playing baseball.

The final appearance of guest judge and longtime friend of The Masked Singer competition Leslie Jordan had laughs, tears, and — as usual – a few surprises.
As might be expected, the fun was tempered by the knowledge that Jordan died in an Oct. 24 car crash. Tonight was the last show he taped, sitting in for regular judge Ken Jeong, out with Covid-19.
“I seldom get invited back anywhere, so it’s exciting!” Jordan said, capturing the glee of his guest shot moment. Host Nick Cannon exclaimed, “I love this man!”
Jeong explained his absence from The Masked Singer this week via Twitter. He also tweeted, “This is our dear friend Leslie Jordan’s last appearance on the show, and we dedicate this episode in his honor. [Heart] you Leslie. We can feel your love from above.”
The series also paid tribute to Jordan with an “In Memoriam” reel of his special show moments.
