It's almost a running joke that the Dick Wolf series inevitably has a revolving-door cast.
It's become frequent to the point of concern with the One Chicago series as we head into a new season with the loss of multiple characters across all three series.
And while the FBI franchise has its fair share of cast shakeups, nothing compares to whatever the heck happens on FBI: Most Wanted.
Seriously, is the series cursed somehow?
Can FBI: Most Wanted Season 1's Cast Ever Be Topped?
When FBI: Most Wanted first came onto the scene, it had a strong showing as a spinoff of the original.
Julian McMahon's Jess Lacroix led the series, and unlike its predecessor, one of the most compelling angles for the show was that we spent a lot of time with Jess and his family at the center of the series.
Jess' family was a touching stone...

The last time WGA picket lines formed in 2007, writers didn’t have an efficient way to communicate with fellow strikers about group meet-ups, illegal productions, and all those clever placards. The only place they could turn to for regular information was this very space, in which the late Nikki Finke would post regular missives about strike action, the broken-off negotiations and the financial impact of the 100-day work stoppage.
My, have times changed. Even with the new and so-not-improved platform under Elon Musk, Twitter has become the go-to town square for writers looking for either marching orders or just plain encouragement from their fellow strikers. When writers aren’t trying to boost morale, they are posting selfies from the picket lines and sharing locations where more reinforcements are needed to battle the AMPTP, the trade association representing the entertainment companies.

(And as TVLine reader Jon noted, why would the Founders even build a generator that can’t be stopped for more than 30 minutes for maintenance?!)

It’s never easy for Cary on “The Other Two,” is it? The older Dubek brother (Drew Tarver) finds himself doing the yeoman’s work of television — playing a lawyer — on a long-running series called “Emily Overruled,” in Episode 4 of Season 3. But although the cast and crew of “Emily Overruled” delight in hitting their marks and going home at 5 p.m., Cary is convinced that acting should be much more and tries to inject some life into the colorless soundstage environs— a journey that required intense collaboration across multiple departments on “The Other Two.”
The show’s production design, camera, editing, and VFX teams all worked together alongside series showrunners Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider to create a rich visual metaphor for working on a long-running series: a black-and-white world in the style of “Pleasantville,” one that throws Cary off of his game until he can bring color and life...

This Star Trek: Picard article contains spoilers.
Todd Stashwick is thirsty.
“I’m gonna go grab a Lacroix,” he tells Den of Geek when we catch up with him over Zoom post-Star Trek: Picard season 3. “Don’t go anywhere! Stay where you are! It’ll be worth the wait if I grab a coconut Lacroix to wet my whistle.”
No doubt we’re just the latest in a long line of outlets waiting to chat with Stashwick now that Picard has wrapped. Everyone wants to know what the actor will be up to after his scene-stealing turn in the show, and whether he’ll return to the Star Trek universe. The latter hangs in the balance because his character, Captain Liam Shaw, is currently super dead, and a new Trek series called Legacy that promises to see him return in an “absolutely amazing” way hasn’t yet been greenlit at the time of writing.

Brut, the influential digital media publisher which became one of the main partners for the Cannes Film Festival last year, has just finalized its fourth funding round for approximately $40 million.
The company, founded by Guillaume Lacroix, Renaud Le Van Kim and Laurent Lucas six years ago, has enlisted a pair of powerful financial backers: CMA Cgm, the world’s third-largest container shipping company owned by billionaire businessman Rodolphe Saadé, which also recently nabbed 10% of France’s second biggest commercial network M6, and the daily newspaper La Provence; and MoonPay, a leading Miami-based financial service company for web3 whose investors include former tennis star Maria Sharapova, as well as Snoop Dogg, Drake and Justin Bieber, among others. Aryeh B. Bourkoff’s LionTree advised the deal with MoonPay.
With this fourth round, Brut has raised nearly $140 million since its launch, and has been able to keep its former investors on board, including James Murdoch’s Lupa Systems,...

This post contains spoilers for the "Ted Lasso" season 3 premiere.
"Ted Lasso" is finally back, and it's... kind of sad? The season premiere of the typically winsome soccer sitcom premiered this week on Apple TV+, and the biggest surprise so far is that the season opener is more likely to make viewers cry than laugh.
The show has taken big, emotional swings before, revealed that Ted's (Jason Sudeikis) dad died by suicide when he was a teen and setting an episode at Rebecca's (Hannah Waddingham) father's funeral. But "Ted Lasso" has always known how to balance its downbeat moments with its sense of wacky, wordplay-loving humor -- until now. The latest season of "Ted Lasso" leans much further into drama territory than comedy, and the result is a premiere that feels as if it's full of gaps that were meant to be filled with mostly missing jokes.

Time travel drama Outlander returns for a seventh go-around this summer. The series is currently in filming and post-production, with massive anticipation for the extended season after a truncated season 6. The show attracts a particularly dedicated fandom, but it’s a different prestige drama that holds the attention of the actors working on the show.
Outlander is imbued in English and especially in Scottish culture. But here in the real world, actors Sam Heughan and Duncan Lacroix are immersed in the same show as most of the rest of us: Yellowstone.
‘Yellowstone’ has expanded into a multi-series TV juggernaut

“Dude you must be the dumbest motherfucker I’ve ever seen in my fucking life.”
The accosting morning message was something Witchneverson “Rich” Lacroix had grown accustomed to from his boss, whom the 21-year-old had started working for last May. Before he could reply, more messages immediately came through. “What the Fuckkkkkkk,” followed by “Like U Literally Retarded.”
The irate boss was Malu Trevejo, whose berating, expletive-filled messages were typical, Lacroix and three other former staffers claim to Rolling Stone, of how the 20-year-old Cuban singer and influencer would communicate with her personal assistants,...

The men of Outlander — Sam Heughan, John Berry and Duncan Lacroix — took center stage at New York Comic Con Sunday but it was author Diana Gabaldon who delivered some of the best zingers at the panel.
When reflecting on the drama’s beginnings on Starz, Gabaldon recalled sitting with Heughan and Caitriona Balfe and talking about the people who love her books. “I have never had a bad fan experience,” she remembered telling the duo. “They are wonderful, intelligent and kind. Bear in mind, though, that people with real, mental derangements don’t have the intelligence to read one of the books. TV is a different thing.”
Gabaldon also brought the house down when explaining how she can track the mood on set by watching the dailies from each episode. “I can judge by how things are going by the number of times Sam or Caitriona says f–.”

The first short story in Andrzej Sapkowski's epic saga was simply titled "The Witcher." It was printed in the Polish fantasy and sci-fi magazine Nowa Fantastyka in 1986, as part of a contest. Sapkowski didn't win the top prize then, but readers were attracted to Geralt of Rivia's struggle to free a princess from an unfair curse. That encouraged Sapkowski, and in 1994, "Blood of Elves" became the first full novel about the mutant monster-hunter's trials. Gradually, Geralt's popularity trickled into the worldwide consciousness, helped along by the 2007 video game adaptation by CD Project.
Geralt's (portrayed by Henry Cavill) first adventure is the third episode of Netflix's "The Witcher." Titled "Betrayer Moon," the myth of the striga becomes a showcase for Geralt's gruff brand of empathy. In his world, monsters can't be allowed to roam free, but when he can, he saves them from their fates. The world of "The Witcher" is often cruel,...

Certain shows are synonymous with specific characters and actors.
It's almost to the point that it's hard to imagine those shows without the characters that made them.
Until one day, you have to imagine it when an actor decides it's time to move onward and leave that particular role behind.
From Grey's Anatomy to The Resident to NCIS, these iconic shows have lost cast members along the way. We remember some of those departures in this list of actors who left successful television series.
Make sure to hit us up in the comments with some of the departures that hit you the most!
Christopher Meloni – Law & Order Svu
When you think of Svu, often you'll think of Benson and Stabler.
They were the heartbeat of the series for twelve seasons, and that's why it was so shocking for fans when Christopher Meloni left the series after that twelfth year.
