Skydance New Media’s World War II Marvel game has finally got a title: Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra. Not only that, it has also got a release window and a first trailer. The game is based on the Marvel superhero characters, Captain America, Black Panther, and two other characters.
The characters of Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra
Skydance and Marvel Games announced the game back in 2021 (via Deadline) and officially teased in 2022 (via Game Informer). The trailer of the game is rather promising as it sees Captain America and Black Panther in a face-off. This is not the first time the two characters have shared the screen in the Marvel Universe, but this is certainly the first time that they will come together like this.

Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra just got an explosive story trailer during the State of Unreal 2024 presentation and Unreal Engine showcased its might once again. The trailer showcased Captain America hunting Black Panther with the game set in the year 1943, as per the title.
Unreal Engine 5’s capabilities were also showcased in full force as the characters and the overall visuals looked far better than any of the previous Marvel titles. The trailer ended with the release date shown as 2025, and while it’s a long wait for the title, fans wouldn’t worry much so long as the game releases without bugs and glitches.

"Her clock is ticking, her days are numbered." She'll try anything! That's the premise for this film. Vertical Ent. has revealed an official trailer for an indie pregnancy comedy called Good Egg, which will be available to watch on VOD this weekend. It premiered last year and has been waiting for a release ever since. A high school drama teacher, after failed attempts with IVF to conceive a child, considers an unconventional egg donor scenario that plunges her into a dangerous & exhilarating adventure with her husband involving some criminals. Starring Yara Martinez as Jessica, with Andrea Londo, Nicholas Cirillo, Priscilla Lopez, Myles Clohessy, Haas Manning, Sharinna Allan, Joel Johnstone, Nick Creegan, and Ben Wang. Alas, this seems too crazy and over-the-top to be any good. Both of the posters are better than the footage. // Continue Reading ›...

This may be the season that CSI: Vegas finally stands on its own two feet.
In its first two seasons, this hybrid has faced a difficult challenge. It's not a revival of the popular series, which ran for 15 seasons on CBS. It isn't a reboot, with new characters repopulating an old concept.
Instead, in its first two seasons, CSI: Vegas has featured a couple of legacy characters to draw in viewers of the original series.
In CSI: Vegas Season 1, power couple Gil Grissom (William Peterson) and Sara Sidle (Jorja Fox) returned to clear the lab's reputation and former lab rat David Hodges (Wallace Langham) from a well-crafted frame.
Meanwhile, seemingly in the background, the lab's new criminologists solved the day-to-day cases.
What Were the Highlights of CSI: Vegas Season 2?
The second season struck a better balance between new and old. It almost had to.
The return of Catherine Willows (Marg Helgenberger) was well handled.

[This story includes major spoilers for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel series finale, “Four Minutes.]
Miriam “Midge” Maisel officially became the “Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” in the series finale titled “Four Minutes.”
The final episode of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel saw Midge (Rachel Brosnahan) take the biggest risk of her career when she finally got the chance to make an appearance on The Gordon Ford Show — against Gordon Ford’s (Reid Scott) wishes.
When Gordon’s wife, Hedy (Nina Arianda), forces the talk show host to put Midge on his show, he begrudgingly obliges and breaks his rule that employees can’t appear as guests on the show. But, instead of introducing her as a comic, he introduces her as the show’s “resident lady writer,” while the two sit on stools instead of the couch his guests usually sit on.
With four minutes left in the broadcast, Gordon cuts to commercial, much to Mike Carr’s (Jason Ralph) dismay.

She's back for one last kick at the can!
On The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 5 Episode 1, we get a series of heartfelt goodbyes and a glimpse at the future. It's a bittersweet beginning to the end of one of television's most delightful comedies.
Warning: This review contains spoilers for Episodes 1 - 3 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 5.
The first episode is aptly titled because we "go forward" in time to 1981. Alexandra Socha is uncanny as the grown-up version of Midge's daughter, Esther.
She was so convincing that initially, I wondered if they had done visual effects or computer trickery on Rachel Brosnahan. Did Socha win a Midge Maisel impersonation contest? She's a marvel!
Poor Esther is neurotic and brilliant, which makes complete sense. We don't get to spend too much time with her here, but just enough to get an idea of how much Midge has affected her daughter.

Catherine Willows is back, and CSI: Vegas is the better for it.
CSI: Vegas Season 2 Episode 1 already marked another time of transition for this revival of the once-hit series.
William Peterson and Jorja Fox departed after one season, so Gil and Sara had to disappear.
Fortunately, despite her role on All Rise, Marg Helgenberger was amenable to a return to Las Vegas.
Let's face it. The revival can't yet stand on its own two feet. While the new team may appeal to fresh viewers, fans of the old series want to see the OGs they know and love.
Catherine was the favorite of many viewers. Gil was the aloof scientist; Catherine was the people person. She was the more accessible member of management.
There was a believable setup for Catherine's return.
The lab was short-handed after Gil and Sara's departures and Allie's absence for lengthy training in Los Angeles. Catherine...

We are fast approaching the premiere of CSI: Vegas Season 2, and we're getting more clarity on who's in and who's out.
According to Deadline, Sara Amini has been tapped to succeed Mel Rodriguez's Chief Medical Examiner Hugo Ramirez.
Sarah Amini (Future Man) will play Sonya, while Joel Johnstone (Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) is set to play Jack, the assistant medical examiner.
We will also see family dynamics at play because these two new characters are siblings.
They join fellow new additions Led Medlin (Drop Dead Diva) and Ariana Guerra (Promised Land).
Medlin is set to play Beau, "who spent the last two decades as one of Dow Chemical’s top research scientists," according to Deadline.
Beau decided it was time to do more meaningful work and took a massive pay cut by following his heart.
He is the most overqualified CSI Level 1 of all time, which should make for some fun TV.

“We’ve really kind of hit our stride,” says Michael Zegen of “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” Season 3. He plays Joel Maisel in Amazon’s period comedy, and the newest season moves the character’s life into exciting new directions. Watch the exclusive video interview above.
Zegen looks forward to the challenge of each new script, admitting that he is constantly learning “who Joel really is. I find out little bits and pieces from episode to episode.” While the character may have started out as somewhat of an antagonist in the beginning of the series, creators Amy Sherman-Palladino and Dan Palladino have charted a sympathetic path to redemption for Joel. Zegen acknowledges that this was probably always part of their plan, “that he was going to be this three dimensional character, rather than this one note villain.”
