- February 2001 - Performed his autobiographical solo show "In Absentia" at The Evidence Room in Los Angeles, CA. It was directed by Loren Rubin.
- March-August 2000 - Played Woland in Zoo District's Award Winning "Master and Margarita" at Art Share and the Hudson Backstage in Los Angeles, California.
- September 1995 - Wrote and performed his one man show "In Absentia" at HERE in New York, NY. It was directed by Josh Kasselman.
- August 2005 - Directed Joe Hernandez-Kolski's solo show "You Wanna Piece of Me?" for the New York International Fringe Festival at the Ace of Clubs in New York, NY.
- July 2004 - Directed and co-developed Joe Hernandez-Kolski's solo show "You Wanna Piece of Me?" at the Electric Lodge in Venice, California.
- March 2003 - Played Jonathan Van Huffle in Zoo District's presentation of Quincy Long's musical "The Lively Lad" at [inside] the Ford Theater in Los Angeles, California.
- January 2001 - Directed the one-act play "Godfather Death" by Haynes Brooke, part of "Grimm!" at the Sacred Fools Theater Company in Los Angeles, California. The production was nominated for four 2001 LA Weekly awards (Best Actor - John Rosenfeld, Best Actor - Bruno Oliver, Best Writer - Haynes Brooke, and Best Director - Ben Davis).
- July 2011 - Directed and developed Joe Hernandez-Kolski's solo show "Awake" at the Bootleg Theater in Los Angeles, California.
