Oxygen Media announced that world-famous supermodels Karolina Kurkova and Coco Rocha will join renowned supermodel and businesswoman Naomi Campbell on “The Face,” a new reality competition series that features aspiring female models in their quest to win the opportunity of becoming “the face” for a well-known brand. This powerhouse trio of supermodel coaches will be responsible for molding, nurturing and transforming the promising contestants as they compete for the career opportunity of a lifetime. Additionally, famed fashion photographer and former model Nigel Barker will host the series. Oxygen has also tapped Andrew Frank, a veteran showrunner (“The Amazing Race” and “Survivor”), as executive producer. Produced by Shine America, “The Face” is scheduled to air in 2013 and casting for the aspiring models is currently underway. For more information, visit www.oxygen.com and follow us on Twitter at www.twitter.com/OxygenPR.
Oxygen viewers will gain access inside the world of modeling with “The Face,” which features three teams of models, each led by supermodel coaches Campbell, Kurkova and Rocha. The coaches will scout and choose their teams from aspiring young models nationwide before guiding them through assignments, which include photo shoots, runway shows and commercials for some of America’s best known brands. Throughout the series, the supermodel coaches will mentor these young hopefuls taking the lessons and skills they have learned and using them to guide their teams through challenges that accurately depict what it takes to have a career as a model and be the face of a brand. During the process, these young models will be exposed to the very best photographers, stylists and designers in the fashion world. In the end, one girl will be chosen to become ‘The Face’ of a well-known brand, earning a real contract as the brand ambassador. As the image of this brand, the winner will become a spokesperson for that company, representing it from all angles – in print, on-air and at brand-hosted events.
Naomi Campbell (Supermodel Coach)
One of the five original supermodels, Campbell was born in London and caught her break when she was 15 years old. She has graced the covers of more than 500 magazines during her career, and has been featured in campaigns for Burberry, Prada, Versace, Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, Yves Saint Laurent and Valentino. She was the first black model to appear on the cover of Time magazine, French Vogue and Russian Vogue as well as the first British black model to appear on the cover of British Vogue. The runway was her domain as she showcased the collections of top designers, including Chanel, Azzedine Alaϊa, Christian Dior and Versace.
Additionally, Campbell has appeared in countless TV shows, music videos and films, including “The Cosby Show,” “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” Madonna’s “Erotica," Bob Marley's "Is This Love" and Michael Jackson's "In The Closet." Campbell is also responsible for an incredible amount of fundraising and charity work in South Africa and across the globe. She began charity work with Nelson Mandela in 1993, and in 1997 he named her “Honorary Granddaughter” for endless activism. In 2005, she established Fashion For Relief and hosted its first charity fashion show to raise funds for victims of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. Since its conception in 2005, Fashion For Relief has presented shows in New York, London, Cannes, Moscow, Mumbai and Dar es Salaam, and has raised millions of dollars for various causes. Additional shows and events are scheduled to take place in Beijing and Hong Kong.
Karolina Kurkova (Supermodel Coach)- @karolinakurkova
Often called one of the last true supermodels, the Czech-born Kurkova has established herself as a fashion and entertainment icon, most notably gracing best-selling covers of fashion magazines worldwide, starring in numerous high-fashion campaigns, co-starring in a hit film franchise, and producing/starring in an international reality TV series. After becoming the youngest model to grace the cover of American Vogue at age 16, and being lauded as the "next supermodel" by its famed editor Anna Wintour, Kurkova walked the runways of haute couture fashion shows including Alberta Ferretti and Alexander McQueen. In 2005, she was named one of Victoria Secret's Angels and subsequently received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2007. In 2009, Kurkova starred in the live action film “GI Joe: Rise of the Cobra” and went on to play guest-starring roles on NBC's TV series “Chuck” and “30 Rock.”
More than a beautiful face, Kurkova received an award from the non-profit organization "Women Together" for her humanitarian work. She continues to campaign for the welfare of children through organizations such as AmFar, New Yorkers for Children and Global Youth Action Network. She has also done work on behalf of the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund and Wounded Warriors. Married in 2009, Kurkova's proudest accomplishment is the role of mom to her two year-old son, Tobin Jack.
Coco Rocha (Supermodel Coach)- @CocoRocha
Canadian born Supermodel Coco Rocha, a muse to designers Karl Largerfeld, Zac Posen and legendary photographer Steven Meisel, has been a favorite cover girl for high-fashion magazines around the world for the better part of the last decade. One of the world’s most versatile models, Rocha has been featured in campaigns as diverse as Balenciaga, Chanel, Christian Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, H&M, Gap and Banana Republic. The 5’10” blue-eyed stunner, represented by Wilhelmina Models in New York, is a bold-faced name. She is as well known for strutting runways all over the world as she is for her tireless work with children's charities in Haiti and Cambodia. Rocha is an avid blogger and has positioned herself as one of the most digitally savvy models of her generation with her widely followed blog, Twitter and Facebook. She was the first high fashion model to surpass one million followers on the social media platform Google+.
Nigel Barker (Host)- @NigelBarker
Barker, best known for his participation as a judge and photographer on the reality show “America’s Next Top Model,” is an English author, spokesperson, filmmaker, fashion photographer and former model. A natural fit to host “The Face,” Barker himself modeled for 10 years in London, Milan, Paris and New York City. Barker's photo credits include GQ, Interview, Lucky, Tatler, Cover, Town & Country, Seventeen, Nicole Miller, Ted Baker, Lands' End, Nine West, Lexus, Leviev, Jordache, Beefeater, Pamella Roland, Ford and Sony. Some major television star power showed up at the NBC Upfront preview party in New York on Monday, representing a fair amount of our favorite shows and new ones we can’t wait to see. One of those would be Parks and Recreation and the shows lead, Amy Poehler looked like a stone cold fox in a Nicole Miller dress, House of Lavande jewelry and an All Saints leather jacket. Other funny ladies, Up All Night co-stars Maya Rudolph and Christina Applegate also represented. Eva Longoria was glam in a deep red Alberta Ferretti dress with Brian Atwood pumps. She probably made sure not to stand right next to Jenny McCarthy, whose sexy fuchsia shift would have clashed horribly next to it!
Other glam ladies included Law & Order: Svu‘s Mariska Hargitay wearing a white Victoria Beckham dress. She happily posed with co-stars Ice-t and Kelli Giddish. Katharine McPhee wore a floral Dolce & Gabbana dress,...

Jumpsuits are the celebrity fashion trend this spring -- and there’s no shortage of styles and prints hitting the red carpet! Rihanna wore a long-sleeved tailored Stella McCartney jumpsuit to the “Battleship” premiere on Monday. She looked super chic in classic black. Other stars who’ve looked jaw-dropping in jumpsuits include Jennifer Lopez, whose crisp white halter jumpsuit is simple yet sexy, and Kate Beckinsale in a flirty fuchsia one-shoulder number. Gold accessories completed both looks. But beware of loud prints and loose fits, because stars like Ke$ha and Bethenny Frankel missed the mark with this new style. We’re not fans of Ke$ha’s orange and black lightning bolt pattern and Bethenny’s shapeless and over-accessorized version of the look. Click “Launch Gallery” to see some of the other stars rocking jumpsuits, and let us know what you think about the look below! You can get...

And we’re back! This week on Gossip Girl, while the Basses played mind games with each other and Lola played detective, Blair and Dan had a drunken encounter and Serena was fired by Nate ... again.
There is much to be said about what unraveled in “Con Heir,” but that’s what our review and Round Table are for. Here, we focus on the fashion successes and failures from Monday.
With something to prove, Ivy threw an Upper East Side party but fell short in the wardrobe and hosting departments (Ues hosting tip, courtesy of Lily: Never serve red wine when people are moving around - spills!).
Meanwhile, yet another trench appeared, Serena went backless instead of frontless for a change, and Lily looked stunning as ever, even though she’s been banished to Brooklyn.
Next week, Diana Payne is back and you know what that means: tighter-then-tight, breast-boosting dresses and towering stilettos!

The makeup at the Nicole Miller fashion show was a mix of gorgeous pink and gold hues. Find out what products created the look! Mac lead makeup artist James Kaliardos tells HollywoodLife.com about the stunning makeup, which he described as a "1970s Adele." The most dramatic parts of the look are the bronzed highlight and pink blush. See what products You need to get the Nicole Miller look. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen stepped out in NYC this morning for an exclusive JCPenney event held at Pier 57. The designers dressed in shades of black and gray, with each sister carrying one of their own luxury handbags from The Row. They were on hand to support their lower-priced brand, Olsenboye, which is sold exclusively at JCPenney. Today's event brought out a fashionable crowd, with Charlotte Ronson. Diane von Furstenburg, and Nicole Miller also on hand. JCPenney CEO Ron Johnson was the star of the gathering, though, taking the stage to share Jcp's new pricing strategy. It seems fans of Mary-Kate and Ashley's Olsenboye can look forward to picking up items at lower prices in future seasons, but they're taking the opposite approach when it comes to The Row considering the astronomical cost of their $39,000 alligator backpack. While small gems from the movie, from the flaming poster to the blow-your-mind awesomeness of a trailer, have sated some appetites for now, fashion-forward fans of the movie are finally getting their cut of the action.
A slew of design labels, including Rachel Roy, Tibi, Tadashi Shoji, Charlotte Ronson, Nicole Miller, Erin Fetherston and Tommy Hilfiger, have created their own interpretations of Katniss' Fire Dress exclusively for Facebook fans of InStyle. From sleek catsuits to asymmetrical gowns, the designs are the prettiest thing to come out of a movie about kids who fight to the death.

"You'll never guess what's been happening in triage. Apparently everyone’s a lesbian!" — Shortland Street Receptionist, 2011
There’s this thing that happens at my house on week nights when my housemate Sarah comes home from work.
Sarah: Oh it’s 6:30, Neighbours is on!
Me: Ergh, Neighbours. Back in New Zealand, where everything is awesome, Shortland Street is way cooler and better in every way than Neighbours.
Sarah: Shh, it’s starting!
[Silence for approximately 45 seconds.]
Me: Pfft, you call that drama? This one time, on Shortland Street, Donna and Rangi continued to have an affair even after they found out they were half-brother and sister; it was amazing! Oh, or this other time, a truck crashed into the hospital...

Click through to learn some of the goings-on.
1. Nicki Minaj is an inconsiderate seatmate. I’m sure Anna Wintour would have nothing but glowing things to say about Minaj and her beehive, but whoever...

If there was an Oscar for Best Wedding Dress of the Year. . . or Century, then Kate’s dress created by Alexander McQueen designer Sarah Burton was a shoe-in! Do you agree?
The world’s top designers raved to fashion industry bible Wwd, calling the gown “beautiful,” (Oscar de la Renta) “very pretty and modern,” (Valentino) and “perfection.” (Mark Badgely)
Only big name American designer Vera Wang, known for dressing dozens of celebrities, including Chelsea Clinton, Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez and Khloe Kardashian, had some teeny tiny criticism — hmm! ” I would have preferred a closed neckline,” critiqued Vera.
“James (Mischka) and I have goosebumps! The dress is perfection; and will stand the test of time. It is a classic Grace Kelly look,” raved Mark Badgley of Badgley Mischka, who has dressed celebrity brides Kellie Pickler, Carmen Electra and Lisa Marie Presley. Now that awards season is over, I’ve been searching for a new film I can rave about — and ‘Cracks’ is definitely it.
Famed director Ridley Scott is responsible for hit films like Thelma & Louise, Gladiator, Black Hawk Down and Hannibal, but he’s getting a run for his money — from his own daughter, Jordan Scott! The Cinema Society & Montblanc hosted a screening of Jordan’s new psychological thriller Cracks on March 16 and it was phenomenal! The screening was held at the Tribeca Grand Hotel and the star Eva Green and director Jordan were both in attendance. Cracks is set at a boarding school in the 1930s and follows a group of girls who find a second home in their school swim team — at least that’s what they think. The girls look up to their gorgeous and young swim instructor Miss G. (Eva Gree), who is constantly pushing the...
