The vampire sub-genre can be as dark and foreboding as the basement of a Transylvanian castle, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be navigated with a well-lit lantern of laughs. Today, the folks at Scream Factory ushered in October with the announcement that they are bringing the vampire comedies Love at First Bite and Once Bitten to Blu-ray for the first time.
Scream Factory plans to release 1979’s Love at First Bite and 1985’s Once Bitten to Blu-ray sometime around Valentine’s Day 2015, so take note if you’re already looking for date night movies. Extras have yet to be revealed, but based on their solid track record, Scream Factory is likely cooking up some bonus goodies in the cauldron.
