Apple TV Plus released a trailer for “Invasion,” which launches Oct. 22 with it first three episodes.
The new series hails from Simon Kinberg and David Weil and is set across multiple continents as citizens across the globe struggle to deal with the titular event, which at first presents as smaller and more manageable issues.
“My fellow citizens of the world, what I have to say to you is not something I was ever prepared to say. As many of you know by now, we are suffering from inexplicable and seemingly unrelated incidents ranging from power outages to the destruction of infrastructure and homes,” the president says in the trailer, which you can watch below.
But what was once thought of as being individual incidents very quickly are realized to be connected and being caused by something “not of our Earth,” she continues.

Season three of international thriller drama series Departure, headlined by Archie Panjabi, has begun production in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Toronto. Will & Grace alum Eric McCormack has joined the series, produced by Shaftesbury in association with Corus Entertainment, Starlings Television and Red Arrow Studios International.
Departure, whose existing two seasons are streaming on Peacock, was renewed for a third season by Canadian network Global in May. Peacock picked up Seasons 1 and 2, which also starred the late Christopher Plummer, after screening them so it is too early to say if the streamer will also take in Season 3.
Created by Vincent Shiao, with Jackie May serving as showrunner and Canadian Screen Award winner T.J. Scott as director, Departure centers on the mystery of The Queen of the Narrows ferry, destined for St. John’s Newfoundland, which sinks in record time with many of its 500 passangers on board.

"They're not people, they're weapons!" Vertical Ent. has released an official trailer for an indie sci-fi thriller about mutants, of course, called Enhanced. There are so many mutants films nowadays, it's becoming a dime-a-dozen and they're not that original anymore. A young woman with "enhanced" abilities finds herself hunted down by a sinister government organization. But when an even stronger mutant serial killer emerges on the scene, agents and mutants are forced to question their allegiances. Alanna Bale stars, with George Tchortov, Adrian Holmes, Chris Mark, Eric Hicks, Michael J. Delaney, and Patrick Sabongui. This is made by a former stuntman, so at least the action looks cool, but not sure the rest of it'll be any good. Here's the official trailer (+ poster) for James Mark's Enhanced, direct from YouTube: George Shepherd is part of an elite private military unit that specializes in capturing mutant fugitives. When David, a super mutant,...

Stockard Channing was 33 when she played teenager Rizzo in Grease. Angelia Jolie was 29 when she played Colin Farrell’s mother in Alexander – only one year older than he was.
Films and shows cast actors outside their own age all the time, and it’s not unusual for actors to be aged up or aged down when a show or film takes place over a long time period, but in Firefly Lane this really jars.

It's never easy to feel torn between different loved ones, nor to feel less important, as chosen family, than the people one's partner grew up with. When Mo's boyfriend (Patrick Sabongui) leaves him because he's afraid of being outed to his conservative Muslim father, Mo (Haaz Sleiman) takes it very badly. A year later, he's still in a sulk, and his best friend Sam (Amin El Gamal) is determined to get him back into the dating game. Emotionally blackmailed into attending Sam's birthday party, Mo steadfastly tries to avoid being set up - until he meets Sam's friend Kal (Michael Cassidy), who is not at all like what he expected.
A sweet-natured romcom, Breaking Fast takes on some difficult issues around what it takes to love somebody and to accept love. It's set against the backdrop of Ramadan, with Mo's first surprise being that this all-American white guy speaks fluent Arabic.

The Flash, as with the other Arrowverse shows, has had to take a month’s break due to the coronavirus pandemic affecting production. However, it will soon return to our screens for the 16th episode of season 6, titled “So Long and Goodnight.” As well as being the one to finally supply us with that Scarlet Speedster content we’ve been craving, the episode is also notable for featuring the return of two familiar characters.
As you can see in the promo images in the gallery below, both Sue Dearbon and Rag Doll will be back for the next installment of the show. Natalie Dreyfuss’ Sue was first introduced in episode 6×12 “A Girl Named Sue,” where she and Ralph quickly formed a bond – even though it turned out she had double-crossed him. No doubt sparks will fly when the pair reunite.

Considering that Barry Allen is the fastest man alive, he sure has been slow in returning to our TV screens with new episodes, right? To be fair, unlike nearly everything else that happens on the show, the ongoing delay with The Flash isn’t actually Barry’s fault, but a result of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic which has affected every corner of the economy, from “non-essential” businesses to TV productions. Which, to be fair, in the grand scheme of things, even Den of Geek has to admit is “non-essential.” Whew, that got dark.
Like the rest of the TV production slate, The Flash had to press pause on filming and post-production for a while last month as the seriousness of the pandemic began to take hold. And while there were still a number of episodes that had been filmed, it also slowed down post-production, which led to several upcoming episodes...

This The Flash review contains spoilers.
The Flash Season 6 Episode 15
After two incredibly unambitious seasons, a promising first half of this one, and being the centerpiece of the most ambitious crossover in TV history, The Flash is definitely now trying to do too much. The problem is, it’s not doing any of these things particularly well, and I’m starting to worry that it doesn’t even know which of them it’s supposed to be doing.
Let’s start with the most promising piece of the post-Crisis season: the new Mirror Master. Eva McCulloch has been a compelling and mysterious enough character. In the unlikely event anyone didn’t see her heel turn coming a mile away, it was still underplayed from the start, it’s easy to be sympathetic to this woman who has been isolated for six years, and I still see the potential for her...

News broke late last week that every CW scripted drama currently filming had temporarily shut down production over coronavirus concerns. At the time, we wondered when this might begin affecting the scheduled airings of upcoming episodes, and it appears that it might be sooner than we anticipated as both Legends of Tomorrow and The Flash have rescheduled upcoming episodes. While no reason was given for the schedule change, and the episodes in question had long ago finished their principal photography, it’s possible that the ripple effect of the production shutdowns have affected the post-production schedules of these special effects heavy shows.
The first one affected is Legends of Tomorrow, which has temporarily removed two episodes from the schedule. Legends of Tomorrow season 5 episode 8, “Zari, not Zari” was scheduled to air on March 24. It has been replaced with a re-run of “A-head of Her Time.”

Jack Ryan actor Haaz Sleiman and Michael Cassidy, who played Jimmy Olsen in 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, will lead Breaking Fast, a romantic comedy about a gay Muslim navigating life, love, and loss during the holy month of Ramadan. Mike Mosallam wrote and directed the indie feature, which is based on his 2016 Cannes short film of the same name. Set in West Hollywood, the film centers on Mo (Sleiman), a practicing Muslim still reeling from heartbreak, when an All-American named Kal (Cassidy) offers to join him in his nightly Iftars, the traditional meal eaten by Muslims during Ramadan after sunset, the two start to discover they have more in common than meets the eye. Amin El Gamal ( Prison Break), Patrick Sabongui (Homeland), Christopher J. When Arrow first premiered back in 2012, I imagined that we’d eventually see cameos from other DC heroes and villains down the road, but I never envisioned that something as expansive as the aptly named Arrowverse would spawn from it. After all, season 1 originally aired with the notion that nobody with superpowers existed in the same world as this iteration of Oliver Queen – and that didn’t last for too long, now did it?
So, before Patrick Sabongui landed a nice recurring role as Captain Singh at Central City Pd over on The Flash, he probably didn’t mind taking whatever small gigs came his way. Funny enough, one of those odds jobs marked his true introduction to the Arrowverse, but most of us probably won’t remember the details.
As it turns out, Sabongui played a bit part during Arrow‘s freshman year as a common criminal, which was...

Considering how expansive The CW’s DC TV lineup has gotten in recent years, it comes as no surprise that varying ethnicities, religions and orientations be represented. In fact, the third of those just mentioned will be touched upon rather generously in the coming year because, don’t forget, a lesbian hero in the form of Batwoman will be introduced in the next major crossover event before being awarded her own series. Not only that, but John Constantine’s bisexuality will be explored over on Legends of Tomorrow, with a transgender crimefighter, Dreamer, set to debut on Supergirl.
When it comes to The Flash, though, Patrick Sabongui’s David Singh and Wentworth Miller’s Citizen Cold will soon be two among several (and probably counting) Lgbt folks to either call Central City home or roll through town.

A few weeks before movie goers are immersed in Christopher Nolan’s recreation of one of the greatest World War II battles with Dunkirk, and a few days before a certain Amazonian princess and her sisters join the fight in the previous world war, this new film takes a look at modern warfare. Much as with the recent films like 2014’s Good Kill and last year’s critically lauded Eye In The Sky, this new work focuses on a way of combat that’s, for want of a better word, impersonal. You don’t have to breathe in the same air as your enemy, you don’t ever have to set foot on the battlefield. You can sit in an air-conditioned office or cubicle, sip a cool drink while watching a near silent video transmission on your monitor. Killing is much more civilized (?), when you’re pushing a few buttons and command a Drone.

No doubt that Sean Bean, depending on your age, will be long remembered for his roles as British officer Lt. Col. Richard Sharpe in the Sharpe series of TV films, Sean Miller in Patriot Games and Boromir, Son of Gondor, in 2001’s Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship Of The Ring. His dying line to Aragorn (Viggo Mortensen), “I would have followed you, my brother… my captain… my king,” has become one of the most quotable lines and one of the best death scenes in movie history.
A Yorkshire, UK native, Sean Bean’s screen credits, both on TV and in movies, are countless.
Opening in theaters Memorial Day weekend is the upcoming thriller Drone, starring Bean and Mary McCormack.

Sean Bean stars in Drone, the new military thriller from director and co-writer Jason Bourque which sees the actor playing Neil, the blank-faced operator of a deadly drone that drops bombs in the Middle East.
As shown in the newly released trailer, Neil is a private drone contractor who appears callous in his destructive missions overseas, only to return to his family to live out a familiar suburban life with his wife and son. The movie itself is about Neil facing the unexpected consequences of his actions when a Pakistani businessman (played by Patrick Sabongui) shows up on his doorstep with a briefcase and perhaps some bad intentions.
From there, Drone checks off the list of quick cuts and rapid escalation that you’d expect from a psychological thriller, but it’s made even more poignant and uncomfortable by how increasingly relevant this topic has become in lieu of recent...

“What’s topical right now?,” a frenzied studio executive says. “Drones!,” an intern screams. Just like that, so comes the first trailer for Drone, a thriller led by the forever-dying-on-screen Sean Bean as the operator of the titular death-dealing machine, Neil, whose world is spun around when a man whose wife and son were killed in a drone strike shows up for dinner. As tension mounts, Neil must try to keep his occupation a secret and his family safe.
The most problematic aspect of this trailer is that the man who shows up seems to threaten Neil and his family with a bomb, which seems like a xenophobic assertion and oversimplification of the grief felt by those impacted from U.S. military action. With the film arriving next month, we’ll see if it can upend those expectations soon. See the trailer below with a nod to FirstShowing.

An intense first trailer has been released for Sean Bean's upcoming new film Drone. Bean plays a CIA drone pilot who has been tracked down by a victim of one of his attacks and is seeking vengeance for the death of his wife and child. It looks like an intense film and it's great to see Bean in strong movie role like this.
Neil (Sean Bean) is a private drone contractor who spends his workdays flying covert missions then returns to a family life of suburban mediocrity - without his wife or son knowing about his secret life - until a whistle-blowing site exposes him to a deadly threat. Believing he is responsible for the deaths of his wife and child, an enigmatic Pakistani businessman (Patrick Sabongui) tracks him down, leading to a harrowing confrontation.
Drone was directed by Jason Bourque (Black Fly) and it hits Us theaters on May 26th.

"Should I tell your wife and your son who you really are?" Screen Media Films has launched a trailer for Drone, yet another movie about drone pilots, this one featuring Sean Bean. Yes, that Sean Bean, the one from Lord of the Rings and "Game of Thrones". Everything changes when a Pakistani businessman, who feels he is responsible for the deaths of his wife and child, tracks him down leading to a harrowing confrontation. Across five harrowing seasons, she’s wrestled with a crippling bipolar disorder, fallen for an American prisoner of war, and confronted terrorism head-on, but Carrie Mathison’s story isn’t over yet – far from it, in fact. Now that Showtime has already nailed down plans for seasons 7 and 8, fans of all things Homeland can rest assured that the network’s flagship CIA thriller isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
In fact, with the oncoming season 6, Showtime’s procedural looks set to hit closer to home than ever before – and we aren’t just talking about the change of location.
