[Editors Note: Given that we've already reviewed the Vinegar Syndrome release of Graduation Day and both discs are virtually identical bar the extras, we thought we'd review the Major difference between the two Blu-ray releases - the bonus feature on the UK disc, the documentary Scream Queens: Horror Heroines Exposed]
It’s fair to say I’m a sucker for scream queen “documentaries”. Be they the T&A filled features such as Scream Queen Hollywood Hot Tub Party, more amateur-hour productions such as Donald Farmer’s shot-on-video Invasion of the Scream Queens, or the awesome scream queen interviews that featured in Stephen King’s World of Horror – if it features an interview with a scream queen then I’m there. I’m also a fan of the documentaries and Blu-ray extras produced by High Rising Productions – including their previously released slasher movie documentary: Slice and Dice: The Slasher Movie Forever.
Put the two together and… I’m in filmic heaven!
Directed by UK-horror scene stalwart Calum Waddell and hosted by scream queen Debbie Rochon (Terror Firmer, Tromeo and Juliet) Scream Queens: Horror Heroines Exposed features, in a change of pace for horror documentaries, especially those focusing on females in the genre,...

Released in 1981, Graduation Day has become a favourite of slasher movie fans thanks to its plasma-spurting set pieces, maniacal mystery-killer storyline and a cast of cult celebrities that includes Christopher George (City of the Living Dead), Vanna White (Wheel of Fortune) and the perennially topless Scream Queen Linnea Quigley. Now set for a Blu-ray release, with a stunning print restored and re-mastered from a colourful 4k scan, from the folks at 88 Films, Graduation Day will arrive in the UK with an array of newly created special features from High Rising Productions including a new feature length documentary entitled Scream Queens: Horror Heroines Exposed.

High Rising’s Calum Waddell tells Fango that Scream Queen: Horror’S Hottest Heroines is on track to come out next year. “It’s an all-female documentary that really espoutes the women’s point of view when it comes to acting within a genre so often associated with masculine dominance or the ‘girl in peril.’ There are no guys in front of the camera; we had no interest in that. If you want to hear the male view on horror cinema, let’s face it, you have plenty of places to hear it! So far we have almost 20 legendary names in the mix; it’s a really exciting project.”
Among those names are (pictured below, top to bottom): B-movie legend Sybil Danning, first and fifth Friday The 13th heroines Adrienne King and Melanie Kinnaman, Patricia Tallman from Night Of The Living Dead 1990, 2001 Maniacs’ Christa Campbell, Splatter University’s Forbes Riley...

“Tron: Legacy” is only two days away from theaters, but the suspense is absolutely killing you. Luckily, Playboy is here to save the day, like they’ve done for so many guys throughout history.
The iconic gentlemen’s magazine just published a tribute to the 1982 Disney film “Tron” and its new sequel. You won’t get to see old/young Jeff Bridges in the pictorial, but there are nude models covered with glowing body-paint posing in “Tron-themed” photos. It should go without saying “Playboy Tron” is Nsfw, unless your work is real cool with nipples.
Featured playmates Irina Voronina and Sasckya Porto don’t appear old enough to remember the original film. Still, the girls do a bang-up job of posing with throwing discs and on Light Cycles. We almost believe they’re about to battle ’80s cyber-style.

There's nothing Disney about it, and naturally you won't see Disney's name anywhere near this thing. But the studio will be the first to admit (privately, behind closed doors, to only a select few) that they need all the marketing help they can get when it comes to 'Tron: Legacy'. The much-anticipated sequel finally hits theaters this weekend (read our review) following an assortment of mixed reviews (Rotten Tomatoes currently has it at 64% Fresh, which is pretty good), coupled with more than a few articles predicting what it would mean for Disney if this film and its $300+ million budget were to open with weak numbers (like, say, under $50 million).
So while Disney shovels out the funky commercials and groovy, neon-heavy merch (see our post on five pieces of 'Tron: Legacy' merchandise that you'll want to own), it looks like they're also...

Ok so you won't see Olivia Wilde or Beau Garrett in a Playboy pictorial (though Wilde does sit for the Playboy 20Q interview), you can see the next best thing. Playboy has posted a new photoshoot featuring Playboy Playmates Irina Voronina and Sasckya Porto as Tron: Legacy characters Gem and Quorra respectively. The models are bodypainted with glow-in-the-dark paint to simulate the lightsuits and somehow Playboy got their hands on a lightcycle to pose the girls with. The results...

Irina Voronina has been a regular on Adult Swim's "Saul of the Mole Men" and has graced the pages of men's magazines Perfect 10 and Playboy, but the Russian model said the worst treatment she ever received was on the set of HBO's "Entourage" during a guest role earlier this year. "They were very rude and unprofessional and I was fired from the set along with another girl," Voronina revealed. "Technically we were told there wasn't space for us to be in the shot anymore, but we knew we were fired because we weren't nice to the actors. They just treated me like a piece of meat without any respect and every conversation would start and end with 'what are you doing later?'." Voronina said that she has worked on the show several times before but the harassment had built to a point where she simply couldn't take it anymore.

Former Playmate Irina Voronina claims that she and another actress were fired from Entourage after rebuffing the actors' advances. She told Fox News: "Technically we were told there wasn't space for us to be in the shot anymore, but we knew we were fired because we weren't nice to the actors. They just treated me like a piece of meat without any respect and every conversation would start and end with "what are you doing later?'" Voronina, now a regular on Cartoon Network's Saul of the Mole Men, had appeared in previous episodes of Entourage as Ring Girl and Sexy Clubgoer. HBO has dismissed the claim as "unfounded and unsubstantiated." [Fox News]...

The male stars of TV show Entourage have been accused of having two female extras fired after their romantic advances were rebuffed.
Irina Voronina claims she and an unnamed co-star clashed with the lead actors, including Adrien Grenier and Jeremy Piven, when the group shot the show's title sequence in a limo in Hollywood.
She alleges the actors made suggestive remarks to her and her pal, and then turned nasty when their approaches were rejected.
Voronina tells the New York Daily News, "After doing two episodes I was asked to do the main title shot in a limo.
"The boys were very direct about what they wanted to do later. They were hitting on me in a very diminishing way. They made me feel like a piece of meat sitting with a big star.
"I made it clear there would be no after-party. So the boys complained to the director. We were basically told that we weren't nice to the actors and that we were fired."
A show spokesperson has dismissed the actress' claim, telling the newspaper, "This is an unfounded and unsubstantiated allegation from a woman who worked on the show five years ago, and we are not going to dignify it beyond that."...
