Tom Hiddleston seems to be on a roll when it comes to the small screen as the popular series The Night Manager recently got renewed for two more seasons. Based on the novel by John le Carré, the BBC series first aired in 2016 and co-starred Hugh Laurie. The show received acclaim from critics and audiences, with Hiddleston even winning a Golden Globe.
Hiddleston was last seen as Loki in the Disney Plus show Loki, which saw its second season. The second and third seasons of The Night Manager reportedly took a long time as they were working on the story with the late writer le Carré and his estate. The renewal of the show eight years after its first season gave many Sherlock fans hopes for a fifth season.

Remember back in 2008, when Donna Noble broke our hearts? Catherine Tate’s gloriously mouthy companion had gone from a suburban office temp to the most important woman in creation, and then had her memory wiped. She saved the universe, but she lost everything. “There’s never been a human-Time Lord metacrisis before,” David Tennant’s Tenth Doctor told her. “You know why.”
“Because there can’t be”.
And, oh, how we cried.
That was 101 episodes, (give or take) fifteen years (our time), a couple of thousand years (the Doctor’s time), three regenerations (more or less) and two show-runners ago. The second great era of Doctor Who ended in October of last year when Jodie Whittaker’s Thirteenth Doctor regenerated into … What? What? What?! … David Tennant’s Fourteenth Doctor. The new Doctor once again wore an old Doctor’s face, and behind the scenes another returning figure was writing his dialogue.

“To die, to truly be dead,” Bela Lugosi said in Hollywood’s classic adaptation of Bram Stoker’s novel Dracula, “that must be glorious.” But beloved monsters never die, no matter how many stakes you drive through their hearts. They are rebooted. Following the box office and critical success of The Invisible Man, Jason Blum’s Blumhouse production banner is looking to resurrect Dracula, according to The Hollywood Reporter. While Universal hasn’t officially signed on, they do have a first-look deal with Blumhouse and a cloakroom of capes for the Transylvanian Count.
The new Dracula movie will be helmed by Karyn Kusama. Matt Manfredi and Phil Hay, who teamed with Kusama on those latter two films, will write the screenplay. Kusama also recently directed an episode of HBO’s adaptation of Stephen King’s The Outsider.

The rush of the holidays is now behind us, the weather sucks, and the news is getting scarier by the day. There’s really only one sane response: stay in and watch more television. Continuing its never-ending flood of content, Netflix has already released Messiah and Spinning Out, series designed to appeal to those who’ve been waiting for a second coming-themed religious mystery story and an ice-skating drama, respectively. This month will also soon see the returns of Curb Your Enthusiasm on HBO and Party of Five, the latter receiving a timely,...

At this point, it’s safe to say that Doctor Who has begun a whole new era with season 11. New intro, new companions, new villains and, most important of all, a new Doctor. And not just a new one, but the first female version of the character that we’ve ever seen. Yes, Jodie Whittaker has become the first woman to play the titular Time Lord in the show’s long history but if a new theory from Cinema Blend is on the level, we might just see another female Doctor turn up before the season’s over.
To start with, they bring up that line which drove fans crazy from the premiere, when Whittaker stated that it’d been a long time since she’d bought women’s clothes. While this could just mean that she’s bought clothes for someone else in the past, many think it was...
