Indranil Banerjee is a renowned writer and director recognized for his internationally acclaimed films such as The Chase, The Mirage, Trinayani - The 3rd Eye, One Night Stand, Hello, Ujjhyo - The Unsaid, and many others. He has also created successful Bengali telefilms for television, including the popular "Bahannoborti." Indranil Banerjee is a scholarship student at the New York Film Academy (NYFA) and hails from New York. He is the founder and CEO of his production house, Unity Pictures. Notably, he is credited with directing India's first horror mini-series, "4 Shades of Leap" (2020), which is available for streaming on Amazon Prime in the USA and UK. He has also directed India's first silent mini-series (2022) and Kolkata's first sitcom, "Paanchphoron's" starring Paran Bandopadhay. Furthermore, Indranil Banerjee has worked on numerous commercial ad films and TV commercials for well-known brands. In addition to his achievements in the film industry, Indranil Banerjee holds the esteemed position of being a jury member at prestigious film festivals such as Los Angeles Cine Fest, Hollywood Short Film Festival, Seattle International Film Festival, Sarno Film Festival, Durban International Film Festival, Vienna International Film Awards, and more. Currently, he serves as the 67th San Francisco International Film Festival Screening Committee Member for 2024.
