This article contains spoilers for the Curb Your Enthusiasm series finale.
As many fans predicted, the Curb Your Enthusiasm series finale concluded just like the much-maligned Seinfeld finale, with Larry David sent to jail for (petty) crimes against humanity. Granted, it wasn’t exactly like David-penned Seinfeld finale as, on Curb, Jerry Seinfeld’s chance encounter with a Joe Pesci lookalike leads to a jury nullification and mistrial, setting our cranky hero free once again.
Before that last minute Deus Ex Jerry, however, Curb Your Enthusiasm gets to indulge in the best part of the Seinfeld ending of yore by having many, many guest stars and other faces from the show’s past make appearances. From the prosecutor to the judge to all the witnesses that attest to Larry’s poor character, the Curb finale has many guest star roles to fill. Here’s how it fills them.

Spoiler Alert! This story contains details from the series finale of Curb Your Enthusiasm on HBO.
After 12 seasons, Larry David officially signed off as Larry David on his HBO comedy. And as predicted, he used his time on Seinfeld to help tie up loose ends on Curb.
The action began with Larry heading back to Atlanta to face charges for handing out water at a polling place at the start of the season. Traveling with him is Jeff (Jeff Garlin), Susie (Susie Essman) and his longtime roomie Leon (D.B. Smoove), who declared he was going to catch up on old episodes of Seinfeld during the flight.
“You never told me it was a show about weekly ass,” he rants to Larry.
While driving into the city, Larry encounters an irate, bird-flipping driver named Cynthia (Allison Janney), who ends up being the latest squeeze of Richard. Naturally, Cynthia denies later that she was the one who tussled with Larry on the freeway.
In court, the prosecutor (Greg Kinnear) tries to bolster his case that Larry both violated the Election Integrity Act and is a general menace to society by questioning several antagonists from the comedian’s past: Mocha Joe (Saverio Guerra), the country club’s Tackahashi (Dana Lee) and the real Lt. Alexander Vindman, who “won’t tolerate corruption from Trump, Putin or Larry David.” Bruce Springsteen returned, too, as did Tracey Ullman.
The Curb flashbacks and stars just kept coming. Ted Danson showed up in Atlanta for the trial, as did Jerry Seinfeld (as himself), Dean Morris (as the judge) and Sharlto Copley (as Michael Fouchay).
Despite flashing a heart sign to the jury, Larry didn’t make a good witness for himself. The jury, naturally, convicts Larry.
“You have a history of doing the same thing wrong, over and over,” says the judge, who sentences Larry to a year in prison.
The comedian ends up in a cell that’s not unlike the one that Jerry, George, Kramer and Elaine were in during the polarizing, 1998 series finale of Seinfeld. But that’s not where this comedy ends: the real Jerry shows up to tell Larry that he’s a free man because one of the jurors broke sequester. The charges were thrown out!
“It’s over,” says Jerry, who gestures to the jail cell. “You don’t want to end up like this. Nobody wants to see it. Trust me.”
As the two walk out of the jail, Larry exclaims, “This is how we should have ended the [Seinfeld] finale!”
Replies Jerry, “How did we not think of that?”...

Spoiler Alert: This article discusses plot points from the series finale of “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”
Larry David got the opportunity to revise the controversial ending he’d chosen for his first widely loved TV series, and he stayed pretty close to the formula. But while his previous series ended with its protagonist in prison, his current one is ending with David himself walking free.
This season of “Curb Your Enthusiasm” had seemed, from its first episode, to be building toward an ending that either mirrored or inverted the way “Seinfeld,” co-created by David and Jerry Seinfeld, had wrapped up in 1998. The season’s mega-arc has been the ongoing uncertainty around the character Larry’s having accidentally run afoul of Georgia election laws. And, throughout the season, askance references to the “Seinfeld” finale (which featured the core cast going to prison after having been forced to hear endless testimony as to...

[This story contains major spoilers from the series finale of Curb Your Enthusiasm, “No Lessons Learned.”]
And, that’s a wrap on Larry David’s Curb Your Enthusiasm.
The series finale of the Emmy-winning HBO improv comedy kicked off with a big circle back to how the final season began, with the ensemble heading to Atlanta to support Larry David (played by series creator-star David) in his trial.
For a refresher: Season 12 opened with Larry getting arrested for violating a 2021 voting law in Georgia when he gave Leon Black’s (Jb Smoove) Auntie Rae (played by Ellia English) a glass of water while she was waiting in line to vote. Larry didn’t know about the law, but he became a liberal hero anyway, with the likes of Stacey Abrams, Bruce Springsteen and Sienna Miller becoming his adoring new fans.
An unfortunate issue with a replacement lawn jockey, however, led to Larry pleading not guilty to obstructing the election process...

Spoiler Alert: This article discusses plot points from the series finale of “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”
After nearly 25 years of Larry David’s disagreements, feuds and outbursts, “Curb Your Enthusiasm” aired its final episode on Sunday.
The appropriately-named “No Lessons Learned” — the 10th episode of Season 12 — wrapped up a season-long arc that started when Larry was arrested in Atlanta for giving water to Auntie Rae (Ellia English) while she was in line to vote, violating local law. Through the season, he became something of a pop culture hero for doing the right thing, even though had no idea he was breaking any law, let alone making any sort of statement.
Of course, Larry’s entourage heads to Atlanta for the trial, including Cheryl (Cheryl Hines) and Ted Danson (playing himself), Jeff (Jeff Garlin) and Susie (Susie Essman), and Leon (J. B. Smoove) and Richard Lewis (playing himself). Richard headed to Atlanta...

[This story contains spoilers from the sixth episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm season 12.]
Curb Your Enthusiasm is known for inviting guest actors onto the HBO improv comedy series to play versions of themselves and go toe-to-toe with Larry David’s onscreen persona.
The latest actress to do so was Lori Loughlin, who came on the sixth episode of the 12th and final season to confront her post-college admissions scandal reputation in Hollywood. The setup was that Loughlin, who loves to play golf, was being black-balled from L.A. country clubs due to her role in the 2019 scandal. (Loughlin and husband Mossimo Giannulli were among the high-profile parents charged with paying fixers to get their children into top U.S. universities, nicknamed Operation Varsity Blues by the FBI.)
So Loughlin needs a sponsor, and who better than Larry — someone who has gotten so many second chances himself? “You know I’m a champion of the underdog,” he says.

The Fox News producer responsible for putting up a chyron labeling Joe Biden a “wannabe dictator” resigned from the network shortly afterward, Tucker Carlson said in his latest Twitter video.
Carlson did not name the producer, but Alexander McCaskill, who had long worked at Tucker Carlson Tonight and continued at the network after Fox News pulled Carlson’s show, posted a photo of himself on Instagram departing Fox offices with a box and the message, “Today was my last day at Fox. It’s been a wild 10 years and it was the best place I’ve ever worked because of the great people I met. But the time has come. I asked them to let me go, and they finally did.” The Daily Beast, which first reported on McCaskill’s exit, identified him as the producer Carlson was referring to.

After 11 seasons and more than two decades on HBO, Emmy voters are still finding “Curb Your Enthusiasm” to be, in Larry David parlance, “pretty … pretty … pretty good.”
Since the comedy series’ debut in 2000, “Curb” has amassed a staggering 51 nominations — including two wins — with the most recent season adding four noms to its total. After 110 episodes, “Curb’s” tightly plotted yet semi-improvised approach remains fresh and admired enough to continue its enviable showing at the Emmys, not to mention a point of pride to executive producer and showrunner Jeff Schaffer.
“Look, I know we’re not like a new sparkly, trendy choice and we’ve been around since the year 2000,” Schaffer says. “But I’m really proud that we’re still doing shows that are super funny and that we’re still doing things that people are talking about and are shocked that we’re doing, whether it’s Larry enlisting...

The most recent season of “Curb Your Enthusiasm” hilariously revolved around Larry David trying to get out of putting a fence around his pool — and then being blackmailed when a burglar who’d robbed his house tripped and fell into the pool and drowned. The final moments of the season finale ended with Larry David following in the burglar’s footsteps and tripping and falling into the pool of a town councilman. It turns out, as David revealed in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, that scene originally ended with Larry David drowning. And the scene on the episode directed by Jeff Schaffer was fully shot and completed as if it were the series’ last one.
The reveal came up when David was asked if he always knows where a given season is heading, as events across the preceding episodes are almost always hurtling to an unexpected endpoint that ties the whole thing together.

As early images of Russian tanks and smoldering buildings emerged from Ukraine last week, the first thought that crossed Rep. Hakeem Jeffries’ (D-n.Y.) mind concerned the safety of the Ukrainian people. His next thought was the first impeachment of former President Donald Trump. “My first reaction, in the horror of the attack, was, ‘This is why what we did was so important,’” Jeffries, one of the managers of that impeachment, recalls.

This week, amid overwhelming evidence that Russia would soon invade Ukraine, state-controlled Russian television network Rt published an article on and aired a segment from Fox News’ Tucker Carlson Tonight in which the show’s host pushed back on the idea that Vladimir Putin is someone Americans should dislike. What’s more, Rt took the trouble of translating the clip into Russian, ostensibly for its domestic market.

As Covid cases and hospitalizations continue to increase due to the Delta variant, Arnold Schwarzenegger is issuing a blunt message to his fellow Americans: “Screw your freedom” and wear a mask. The “Terminator” actor and former California governor appeared in a video discussion this week (via Insider) with CNN’s Bianna Golodryga and retired Army Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman and stressed the importance of continued mask wearing.
“There is a virus here — it kills people,” Schwarzenegger said. “And the only way we prevent it is get vaccinated, get masks, to do social distancing, washing your hands all the time, and not just to think about ‘well my freedom is being kind of disturbed here.’ No, screw your freedom. Because with freedom comes obligations and responsibilities. You cannot just say, ‘I have the right to X, Y, and Z.’ When you affect other people then it gets serious.”

Former Trump White House Staffer Alex Vindman Hits Back at Newsmax Host Greg Kelly’s ‘Pathetic’ Diss
Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman was quick to fire back at Newsmax anchor Greg Kelly’s diss of him this week, saying in a colorful tweet that he won’t stand for Kelly’s insulting him and his family.

Vindman’s Monday remarks were in response to Kelly’s comments on Twitter a day earlier. There was a moment in the Democratic debate when candidates started to turn to the contender not on stage — Michael Bloomberg, the billionaire who is shattering records in campaign spending to the point where he is now a ubiquitous presence during TV commercial breaks.
“I guess is you’re worth $60 billion and you can spend several hundred million dollars on commercials, who can have a slight advantage,” Bernie Sanders said at one moment on Friday night. “That’s nonsense.”
Given that this debate has such consequence coming just days before the New Hampshire primary, the oddity was that the candidates who were on stage generally were nice to each other.
They attacked one another over certain policy proposals and aspects of their records, but they also didn’t take the bait at other more personal moments, as when they were asked to respond to Hillary Clinton’s quote that “nobody likes” Sanders,...

In matters concerning the impeachment trial, Republican senators have been warned: if they go against Trump they should be prepared to reap the whirlwind. “Vote against the president and your head will be on a pike,” a source told CBS News’ Nancy Cordes.
The report did not say whether the threat came from Trump himself, the White House, or Republican leadership. There have been few signs of Republican Senators breaking ranks. All of the procedural votes, which set the rules for the trial, have fallen to defeat on party lines.

The next impeachment hearing will be on Wednesday, but neither President Donald Trump nor his attorneys plan to take part in it.
White House Counsel Pat Cipollone wrote in a lengthy letter to Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) that “we cannot fairly be expected to participate in a hearing while the witnesses are yet to be named and while it remains unclear whether the Judiciary Committee will afford the President a fair process through additional hearings.”
Nadler gave Trump and his representatives until 6 Pm Et on Sunday to inform them whether they would participate in the hearing, which will focus on the constitutional case for impeachment.
As he has before, Cipollone objected to the hearings as an unfair process, and argued that Nadler gave them just days to prepare. He also wrote that they were not given an opportunity to participate in the five Intelligence Committee hearings that have featured fact witnesses,...

The fifth day of televised public hearings in the Donald Trump impeachment inquiry by the House Intelligence Committee gets underway at 9 a.m. Et/6 a.m. Pt. Watch the livestream here.
Set to give testimony today on Capitol Hill are Dr. Fiona Hill, former Senior Director for Europe and Russia on the National Security Council, and David Holmes, Political Counselor at the U.S Embassy in Kiev, Ukraine. Hill and Holmes will deliver opening statements, if they so choose, and then will be questioned in 45-minute blocks of time from each side.
The Democrats and Republicans can choose their respective counsels to do the questioning. That is a break from a typical hearing, in which members questioned witnesses in five-minute increments, alternating between Dems and Gop reps based on seniority. That still will happen — but it will only come later in the hearing.

An attorney for Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman fired off a letter to Fox News on Wednesday, asking the network to retract an October 28 segment of The Ingraham Angle in which a guest suggested that he engaged in espionage.
Vindman’s attorney, David Pressman of Boies Schiller Flexner, said in the letter that the segment “created a false factual basis to render sinister otherwise innocuous facts.” He wrote that the segment “sparked a torrent of republications and copycat false charges,” as President Donald Trump retweeted innuendo that he had dual loyalties.
Vindman was among those who listened to Trump’s July 25 phone call with the president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky. On Tuesday, Vindman testified at the impeachment inquiry that he “couldn’t believe what I was hearing” as Trump pressed Zelensky to investigate the Bidens.

The House impeachment inquiry into President Donald J. Trump is again being broadcast live this week, with three days of public hearings. This week’s hearings began on Tuesday, November 19 and will end on Thursday, November 21. There will be a total of five hearings this week, taking place in both the morning and the afternoon.
Investigators for the House of Representatives are looking into whether Trump abused his public office for private gain, specifically in his dealings with Ukraine. From attempting to pressure the Ukranian President Volodymyr Zelensky into investigating former Vice President Joe Biden for corruption and asking Zelensky to investigate the conspiracy theory that it was Ukraine than interfered in the 2016 election — on behalf of Hillary Clinton’s campaign — to White House officials concealing records of phone correspondence on July 25 between Trump and Zelensky, a number of government officials already testified about these impeachable offenses to Congress behind closed doors.

Soon after Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman’s finished his testimony on the third day of the impeachment hearings yesterday, Republican Devin Nunes declared the ratings for were “way down, way down” and the whole affair was losing traction with the American public.
Well, the ranking Gop member of the House Intelligence Committee was very wrong in his characterization Tuesday of the dip between Day 1 and Day 2 of the widely televised inquiry. However, when it comes to the long third day of the probe into Donald Trump’s alleged leveraging of millions in aid to Ukraine for domestic political concerns, the highly partisan Rep. Nunes was incorrect again.
Filled with moving statements from White House assigned Lt. Col Vindman and contentious testimony from and VP Mike Pence aide Jennifer Williams, Kurt Volker, the former special envoy to Ukraine, and Tim Morrison, an ex-National Security Council official, the Rep. Adam Schiff run...

A day after House Democrats called out past commentary on Fox News about Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman's patriotism, a lawyer for the impeachment witness sent the network a legal letter demanding that it "retract and correct the falsehoods it has spread against Ltc Vindman."

Hey, "Days Of Our Lives" fans. Unfortunately we are back here again to have to tell you that your favorite soap opera got preempted once again today, November 19, 2019 in certain United States time zones due to NBC's Live coverage of the President Donald Trump impeachment hearings. This did not effect every major network like it did last week. Update: Today's November 20, 2019 episode was preempted in certain time zones due to the Donald Trump Impeachment hearings. We wrote a whole new article about it. You can read it by Clicking Here. From what I can tell, NBC was the only one that covered the entire impeachment hearings today. CBS covered them for a little while, but then took a break to make sure they aired two big soap operas "The Bold And The Beautiful" and "Young And The Restless." Currently, CBS is now covering the afternoon impeachment hearings while NBC...
