Dancing With the Stars Season 32 officially came to an end on Tuesday night with Xochitl Gomez winning the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy along with her veteran dance partner Val Chmerkovskiy. (Back in September, the Mirrorball was renamed in honor of Goodman, a longtime judge on the show who died in April.)
The three-hour finale included heartfelt performances from the show’s five remaining finalists: Gomez, Alyson Hannigan, Jason Mraz, Ariana Madix, and Charity Lawson. For the final time, each couple danced twice: a freestyle and a redemption dance, redoing a...

After a redemption arc that placed him in the finale, the “I’m Yours” singer and pro Daniella Karagach landed behind Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy winners Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy. Fans are furious, believing Mraz is “the people’s champion.” They want “justice” for all his hard work.

Heading into Dancing With the Stars’ season finale, Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy were the clear favorites among TVLine readers — not only for who would win Season 32, but who should win Season 32.
Xochitl was among a record five finalists competing on Tuesday’s season ender, alongside Ariana Madix, Jason Mraz, Alyson Hannigan and Charity Lawson. But before the Len Goodman Mirrorball trophy could go to any of those hopefuls, Dancing had a three-hour (!) broadcast in store for us, packed with two closing routines from each couple, plus a whooole lotta filler. Did we need 30 full minutes to recap all of this season’s best performances?...

Charli D’Amelio will pass Dancing With the Stars’ Mirrorball trophy to another worthy winner on Tuesday — and for the first time ever, there are five finalists who could potentially take it from her.
During its recent semifinals episode, Dancing opted not to send anyone home, leaving five contestants — Xochitl Gomez, Alyson Hannigan, Charity Lawson, Ariana Madix and Jason Mraz — in the running on finale night, instead of the usual four. But before that confetti shower rains down on Tuesday night, we want your thoughts on who will (and should) emerge victorious from Season 32.

Samba is notoriously one of the hardest styles to learn and perform on “DWTS,” and Jason struggled with his on “Whitney Houston Night” before he came back with a vengeance on “A Celebration of Taylor Swift.” Will it challenge Xochitl just as much, or will it be child’s play for the 17-year-old actress?

Hey, "Dancing With The Stars" fans. Tonight, September 26, 2023, the premiere episode 1 of Dancing With The Stars' current season 32 did indeed hit the air tonight with judges: Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli, and we saw the first, unlucky couple get eliminated at the very end of it. Tonight's premiere episode 1 kicked off with Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy serving up a Cha Cha number. Afterwards, Carrie Ann said, "You're fun, like a wild stallion, with charisma and the It factor, but you lost your timing just a hair." Derek said, "You have so much personality and beautiful long limbs that need to be more contained and well placed." Bruno said, "This was a great performance. You're natural, but you need to work on your hip action. Your potential is enormous!” Carrie Ann gave Xochitl and Val a 6 score, Derek a 6, Bruno a 6 for a total of 18 points out of a possible 30 points.

The efficiently titled How to Blow Up a Pipeline weaves a fictional story of eco-sabotage out of Marxist academic Andreas Malm’s book on climate activism. It’s also self-critical when it comes to cinema’s role within the movement.
One of the film’s central activists, Dwayne (Jake Weary), a Texan farmer whose land has been forcibly seized by the government for the construction of a pipeline, is interviewed on camera by a crew of documentarians. They’re keen to “put a human face on this crisis” in order to “raise awareness”. But all they’re really doing is demanding that Dwayne recount his pain for their own purposes. Will they contribute to his legal expenses? Will they stick around to fight his cause once the cameras have stopped rolling? We all know that they won’t. Filmmaker Daniel Goldhaber, who applied a similar sense of moral clarity to his debut,...

We had seriously considered an April Fool’s edition of Don’t-Miss Indies this month full of Latvian Redbox actioners, but thought better of such trickery at the eleventh hour. After all, our beloved constituents deserve better than a perplexing blurb about The Humanity Bureau starring Nicolas Cage. And anyway there are too many great, legitimate titles to skip. So bunker down with some Cadbury Creme eggs at the art house and enjoy!

Daniel Goldhaber’s How to Blow Up a Pipeline sends the message that enough is enough in a taut thriller that connects personal struggle with climate change. The storytelling is straightforward and simple, yet effective in delivering its appropriately-placed anger and moments of nail-biting suspense within the framework of a heist flick. How to Blow Up a Pipeline delivers on its promises.
