Laurel attended Hofstra University in Long Island, New York where she majored in video/television production. During her time at Hofstra, she was selected as one of five students to travel to Sydney to work for NBC during the 2000 Summer Olympics.
While in New York, Laurel worked as an editor for News 12 Long Island, covering many local stories as well as 9/11 -- working on pieces she's still proud of today. In January 2002, she moved to Los Angeles to explore new opportunities in her career.
Laurel has hardly stopped working since she set foot in California. She worked as a logger, post pa and assistant editor for some of the top reality shows before starting her career in theatrical marketing. Laurel has had a career filled with working on blockbuster films like X-Men 3, Fantastic 4, and Mission Impossible 3. Some of her favorite theatrical work was on films like The Weather Man, Walk the Line and Robin Hood. She has cut two pilots, many sizzle reels, short films, and everything in between. She's always looking for the next great fun project to push her creatively.
After an award winning run as a Senior Producer/Editor for the CBS in-house creative marketing team, Laurel was promoted to Creative Director. A position she currently loves and holds.
Laurel lives in Westchester, CA with her wife Jen, daughter Riley, and labradoodle Max.
