Elizabeth Bateman(III)

Elizabeth Bateman was born in Friday Harbor, Washington. She grew up in rural Minnesota working alongside her mother in large and small animal veterinary medicine. Between taking English riding lessons, working on her family's farm and caring for sick animals at her mother's clinic, Elizabeth developed a deep love for working with all types of animals. She began exploring avenues for careers with animals by participating in professional internships with the Seattle Aquarium, the Minnesota Zoo's World of Birds Show, and Universal Studios Hollywood's Animal Actors show during her time in college. Interning at the animal show introduced her to the world of training animals for film at television. Elizabeth became a full-time trainer for the show for two and a half years as her passion for training expanded into her career. She departed from the live animal show in search of more opportunity to train animals for set work and was hired by the "Gentle Jungle" Hollywood animal sanctuary to work on the hit television series "Yellowstone". Since then, she has worked on commercials for Subaru and Hyundai, television programs such as Goliath and major motion pictures including "Avatar" and "Jumanji 3".
