A spin-off of the original anime series, Ayakashi: Samurai Horror Tales, Mononoke is undoubtedly one of the most peculiar original anime series we have on the market. It is an avant-garde series focusing on the supernatural, incorporating elements of mystery and psychological horror, as the series focuses on the unnamed traveling apothecary who is stingy with words. He travels with his medicine cabinet and a box containing a spiritual sword whose pommel is adorned with a monkey’s head, fighting numerous supernatural enemies along the way.
The original anime series ran for 12 series in 2007 but the series is coming back with a feature-length anime movie titled Mononoke: Karakasa, which is going to be released on July 26, 2024 in Japan. "Our heads will be blown off in 60 hours." Warner Bros Japan + DC have unveiled the full official trailer for a Japanese anime series called Suicide Squad Isekai. It's now set to launch in 2024, after we posted a teaser earlier this year expecting it to arrive at the end of 2023. The term "isekai" is a Japanese word that means "another world" – which is also what the plot is about, with this ragtag team of DC villains literally explaining in here they're going to "another world." Super-Villains sent to Isekai!? The most dangerous & bizarre fantasy adventure unveiled!! The anime is produced by Warner Bros. Japan and it's animated by Wit Studio, directed by Eri Osada. The voice cast features Anna Nagase as Harley Quinn, Yūichirō Umehara as The Joker, Reigo Yamaguchi as Deadshot, Takehito Koyasu as Peacemaker (who looks hilarious in this), Jun Fukuyama as Clayface, and Subaru Kimura as the indomitable King Shark.

During their Anime Lineup Presentation event at the Akiba Theatre in Tokyo today, Netflix unveiled their slate of Anime programming for 2019.
The new lineup is an expansion of their successful original Anime programming which includes Devilman Crybaby and B: the Beginning. Netflix announced that they would be revisiting some of the most beloved stories that many Anime fans already know and love, including Ultraman, Neon Genesis Evangelion and Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac.
The news comes after Netflix made their first-ever Asia showcase earlier this month where they announced the addition of Pacific Rim, Altered Carbon, Cagaster of an Insect Cage, Yasuke, and Trese to their anime slate. Altus, the developer behind Persona 5 is releasing new information about the upcoming Persona 5 The Animation. The announcement will be via a live stream that will begin on December 24 at 8Pm Japan Time. So for those in the United States, the live stream will be 6Am Eastern Time. The stream will be shown on Abema TV for Japan, and YouTube Live for the rest of the world. It might be a bit early, however, if you want to know all the details on Atlus’ new project first, then it might be worth a look.
Fans of the game will be in for a treat as Persona 5 The Animation will feature backstories of some of the characters in the game, plus new stories that will definitely make the main plot of the game more interesting. I wonder how relevant these new plot lines will be and how they’ll affect the game’s plot overall.
