Victor (Michael Cimino) just wants to start over — just as the end is near.
The third and final season of “Love, Victor” premieres June 15 on Hulu and, this time, also on Disney+ as the streamer expands its older-skewing offerings. Season 2 left off with Victor’s love triangle heating up between his first love Benji (George Sear) and new student Rahim (Anthony Kevyan), who recently came out to his Muslim family after receiving advice from Victor.
As graduation looms and Victor tries to determine who he wants to (re)start a relationship with, the high school senior hopes to just “go back to that perfect moment” of falling in love for the first time.
“A lot of the time, the scariest things are also the most important, like admitting who you love or who you are,” Victor says in the trailer.

After three seasons, we've reached the end of Love, Victor.
Hulu on Friday unveiled the trailer for Love, Victor Season 3, and it teases some resolution.
The second season wrapped on a thrilling cliffhanger as Victor was forced to choose between Benji and Rahim.
“Are you sure nothing’s going on with you and Rahim?” Benji asks in the trailer.
"There was something between us. I thought we were friends, and things got confused," Victor responds.
However, Benji appears to want to sort out his problems on his own, and we see him packing a car.
Is the end in sight for the prominent couple on the hit dramedy?
"Did I ever tell you about the first time that I saw you?" Victor asks Benji in the same scene, seemingly confirming that something did happen.
"Can we just go back to that perfect moment. You know, start over?"

The final season of “Love, Victor” is almost upon us, and now we have a glimpse at what’s in store.
The trailer for Season 3, which you can watch above, begins by finally giving some answers about who Victor (Michael Cimino) chose at the end of the previous season. If you remember, the previous season of Hulu’s young-adult drama ended with Victor standing outside the door of one of his two love interests.
The scene fades to black before we find out if he went to profess his love to Benji (George Sear) or Rahim (Anthony Keyvan), but now the new trailer reveals that it was, in fact, Benji.
“Are you sure nothing’s going on between you and Rahim?” Benji asks as the two sit outside after the school dance. Victor admits: “There was something between us. I thought we were friends, and things got confusing.”

“Love, Victor” is being added to Disney+.
The upcoming third season of the teen coming-of-age drama, will be available on Disney+ and Hulu beginning June 15, along with Seasons 1 and 2, a source with knowledge of the move confirmed to TheWrap.
“Love, Victor” was originally developed for Disney+ but was moved to Hulu after Disney worried that some of the themes explored in the show, such as alcohol use and teen sexuality, might not belong on the family friendly streamer. It was the second project to be moved to Hulu for similar reasons, following the Zoe Kravitz-led “High Fidelity” reimagining, which was canceled after one season.
The series is set in the same world as the film “Love, Simon” (which is based on the novel “Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli). It stars Michael Cimino as Victor Salazar, a teen from a half Puerto Rican, half Colombian-American family, trying...

The upcoming third season will be the last for Love, Victor, Hulu has confirmed. All eight episodes of the YA teen comedy series’ final season will premiere June 15 on the streamer. The news was revealed by Hulu as part of its TCA presentation Tuesday.
Following the events of the film Love, Simon, Love, Victor tells the story of Victor Salazar (Michael Cimino) – a new student at Creekwood High who has just moved with his family from rural Texas to Atlanta. On top of all the usual high school pressures of making friends and fitting in, Victor is still figuring out his sexuality – a tricky subject in his religious family. Reaching out to Simon for advice, Victor slowly but surely learns to be his authentic self and to trust the message from the film – that everyone deserves a great love story.

Spoiler Warning: Do not read if you have not watched Season 2 of “Love, Victor,” streaming now on Hulu.
The second season of “Love, Victor” — the spinoff series of the groundbreaking 2018 coming out feature “Love, Simon” — picks up right where the first left off, with Atlanta teenager Victor Salazar (Michael Cimino) telling his parents that he’s gay. After waiting a year, audiences finally get to see how Armando (James Martinez) and Isabel (Ana Ortiz) react to their son’s announcement.
It’s not terrible — there are no tears or screaming, no condemnations or rejections. But at first, neither parent embraces who Victor is either. Armando at least engages, if awkwardly, asking about his girlfriend (i.e. Victor’s attempt to convince himself he could be with a woman) and wondering aloud when he decided he was gay.
Isabel, however, remains silent. When Victor finally asks her to say something, she blanches.

“Love, Victor” and “Taste the Nation With Padma Lakshmi” will be coming back for seconds.
Hulu announced at its summer TCA press tour day that both series have been picked up for season 2. The news comes less than two months after both shows debuted within a day of each other.
It also comes two days after Hulu canceled another freshman series in Zoe Kravitz rom-com “High Fidelity.” It’s particularly interesting that “High Fidelity” was given the boot and “Love, Victor” the nod, given that both shows made much-publicized moves from Disney Plus to Hulu amid a larger content shuffle between the two Disney-owned platforms.

It’s an uncomfortable but inevitable truth of the LGBTQ civil rights movement that white gay men have always come first, even as others were doing the work. From being the face of same sex marriage to most screen representations, cute white boys are always the first to the table. So when “Love, Simon” premiered in 2018, becoming the first major Hollywood movie to center a gay teen coming out, it made sense that it was cutie pie Nick Robinson who got the part. While he was extremely charming in the role, Robinson is smart to take a backseat as executive producer on “Love, Victor,” the adorable Hulu series based in the same universe as “Love, Simon.”

Love, Simon was one of the sweetest surprises of 2018. The Greg Berlanti-directed adaptation of Becky Albertalli’s Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda, did well both critically and commercially and has led to a further expansion of the on-screen world.
Last year, Hulu announced they would be making a TV show sequel called Love, Victor for Disney+. In February, it was announced it would actually premiere on Hulu, which is also under the Disney corporate umbrella.
While the TV series does not boast Love, Simon director Greg Berlanti behind the camera in that same role, it does have Love, Simon screenwriters Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger. Aptaker and Berger created the series and wrote the first episode.

Hulu has moved up the premiere dates for “Love, Victor” and “Taste the Nation” out of respect for “Juneteenth,” (June 19) which commemorates the ending the slavery.
“Love, Victor” will now premiere on June 17, while “Taste the Nation” will follow on June 18.
“This date represents an important turning point for our nation and for human rights, and we believe that now, more than ever, it deserves to have its own day in the spotlight,” Hulu said in a statement.
Though President Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation was signed into order in 1863, June 19, 1965 marks the day that Union general Gordon Granger told enslaved African-Americans in Texas that they were now free men. It has since become the day reserved to commemorate the abolishment of slavery, which was made official with the ratification of the 13th Amendment.

Are you ready for Love, Victor?
Hulu on Monday released the first clip from its Love, Simon spinoff, and it shows the titular character interacting with a barista.
We're not going to spoil how it goes, because we're sure you're going to want to watch the clip.
Set in the same universe as the 2018 movie, Love Victor follows Victor (Michael Cimino), a new student at Creekwood High School.
The teenager is on his own journey of self-discovery as he faces adjusting to a new city, as well as challenges at home.
He is also struggling to come to terms with his sexual orientation.
To make things easier, he reaches out to Simon to get assistance with navigating the trials and tribulations of high school.
Nick Robinson, who played Simon in the original movie is on board to narrate the sequel, but there's still no word on whether he will appear on-screen.

Disney has shifted its upcoming “Love, Victor” project to Hulu due to the series’ mature themes, a source close to production told IndieWire. The show, which will focus on a gay high school student’s self-discovery and challenging home life, was originally expected to stream on Disney+, but will now premiere on Hulu in July.
Variety reported that the series’ move to Hulu was due to alcohol use and themes of sexual exploration, which wouldn’t have fit with the family-friendly focus of Disney+. That said, a source close to production told IndieWire that the series’ move to Hulu was due to “general sexual exploration” and stressed that the show’s homosexual content had no impact on the decision. Other factors in the move included underage alcohol consumption and the parent characters’ marital issues, the source told IndieWire.
“Love, Victor” would’ve been the first Disney+ series that primarily focuses on a gay protagonist.
