Cherrel Holder is an emerging Canadian actress. She was born in Trinidad and moved to Canada at the age of eleven with her single mother Junette Holder, older sister Cherryl-lyn Holder and twin sister Chanelle Holder. At the age of twelve Cherrel was diagnosed with an auto-immune disease called Alopecia Areata, which caused large bald spots on her head. Despite her hair loss, Cherrel had a growing passion for being on stage and in front of a camera. This led her to pursue a career in theatre and dance. While continuing her career in Sydney Australia, an encounter with a film producer in the mall caused Cherrel to make the switch from stage to film. Cherrel has recently completed her first lead role in the sci-fi feature film Finality of Dusk.
