Cole Volgenau was born in Buffalo, New York. He is the eldest son of Coleman Volgenau, a graduate of Harvard Law School, an attorney and former Town Justice of the Peace, and Ruth (Dahl) Volgenau, a former swimsuit model and artist. Cole is a passionate artist and working actor in film, television, commercial, and industrial projects spanning over 40 years. He is also a published author and talented screenwriter with an ear for intelligent dialogue and an eye for strong story and character development.
He earned a degree from Michigan State University with a B.A. in Business Administration with a goal of pursuing work on both sides of the camera. Having trained at one of the finest acting studios in the late '70's and early '80's, the Charles E. Conrad Studios (utilizing the Sanford Meisner Technique) in Burbank, California, he continues to sharpen his performance skills to this day with acting, improvisation classes and workshops in Atlanta.
