In 1949, she photographed artist Jackson Pollock at work with a
cigarette dangling from his mouth. The image was later used on a US
postage stamp, with the cigarette air-brushed out. In 1947, she showed
Bogart and Bacall standing by a table at a US House of Representatives
Un-American Activities Committee hearing on Communists in Hollywood.
