Bryant Turner(I)
- Actor
- Producer
This writer/director realized after meeting Horton Foote that he wanted to
become a filmmaker. After Mr. Foote visited his university, Bryant set
up a film festival in his honor. They soon began a discussion that led
Bryant to pursue film. While at college he tracked down writer/director
Allan Moyle through 411 information and called him for almost two years
before he was granted an interview. He flew to Los Angeles and got the
job. He and Allan worked on several projects before Bryant went on his
own to pursue his own stories. He later teamed with actor Ron Perlman to
direct his first feature entitled _Soloman's Turn (2004)_. He will always contribute
his success to the artists he has been so fortunate to meet from
Hal Holbrook, David Lynch, Ron Perlman, Horton Foote and his father, poet Robert
Turner.
