Biography

Jessica Ruth Bell (also known as Jessica Bell or Jess Bell) has been acting and singing for over a decade. 2020 marked the year of her first lead role in her first full-length feature film: As Real as You Make It, coming out in 2022. Shortly after, she started taking online Improv classes at UCB, booking the 8th Annual Oscars Special by Tim Heidecker; a nearly 4-hour improv-based comedy show, spawning multiple different projects, including the television pilot Rock House and the 12th season of the On Cinema series, as the up-and-coming pop star Wendy Kerby.

Prior to As Real as You Make It, her career was mainly theater-based. After coming home from a 6 month contract performing/singing at Hong Kong Disneyland as Rapunzel and Elsa in 2019, she made her way to The Shakespeare Center of LA, playing Third Witch, Lady Macduff, Gentlewoman, Fleance, and Musician in their 2019 production of The Tragedie of Macbeth. Other past musical theater roles include Elle Woods in Legally Blonde: The Musical, Cinderella in Rodger and Hammerstein's Cinderella, and Sandy in Grease.

On a personal level, Jessica adores baking, crocheting, crafting, sewing, and meditating! You can often find her on a bench in a nice green patch of grass journaling about positive things and projects she has planned for the near future.
