This film composer started his career while doing a Music degree at Oxford Brookes University where he discovered his skills as a composer creating sonic art and electro-acoustic composition. In his second year, he studied the Composition for Visual Media module where he had to write music for a game scene (you can find this on his Instagram, @willc_music). He also had to write a score for a TV advert. When on this module he was chosen by film writer and director for Crazy Goose Productions, Bradley Chalton-Raymond, to compose his short film, 'The Golden Girl'. After finishing the short film he was then asked by Brad to compose for his feature film.
In his third year at Oxford Brookes University, he did a composition portfolio on 'The Relationship Between Nature and Technology' in which he planned to write 3 pieces demonstrating this. For this project, he attached a contact microphone to the hull of a rowing boat to record the sounds vibrating the hull. He also attached a hydrophone at the stern of the boat and recorded the sounds whilst being dragged through the water.
He was a member of the Great Marlow School Boat Club, regularly training and taking part in rowing and sculling competitions representing his school, including The Royal Henley Regatta, National Schools Regatta in Nottingham and winning gold medals in many events. His is now rowing for the City of Oxford Rowing Club where he trains every year for The Royal Henley Regatta, doing other events throughout the year.
Having attended the Jackie Palmer Stage School for 10 years, taking part in regular classes and shows and performing on television: . Midsomer Murders - ITV - Child singer/performer/extra - 2008-11 . Toonattik - CITV - Pie Boy - 2008-10 . Aladdin - Wycombe Swan Pantomime - Child dancer/singer - Christmas 2009-10 . Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Tour) - Wycombe Swan - Spring 2010 and Autumn 2011 . Evita (Tour) - Wycombe Swan - Child dancer/singer - Autumn 2008
He was able to be part of the Wycombe Swan Theatre Youth Project, Youth Theatre and Renegade Theatre Company productions every year since 2013. During that time, he performed as the lead role, Bobby Strong, in "Urinetown the Musical", other principal roles, a main dancer and also in the ensemble.
