- DeAnna grew up in the suburbs of the windy city of Chicago, Illinois. After receiving her degree in Communications and Theatre from Southern Illinois University, she began modeling and acting in her hometown of Chicago. Being of an artistic nature this seemed a natural path to take. Growing up in Chicago was a great starter market but the city of New York called and the move was on. After a two year run living in NY the next move was to China and Japan where a very successful year long contract was fulfilled. Knowing that modeling was a job for financial means the real passion remained acting and the move to Los Angeles to work on that dream was inevitable. Her first small break came with a role in the Martin Lawrence film National Security. Although the scenes were not viewed in the theater release of the film they can be seen in the Alternate Ending segment of the DVD. This was followed by a few more small and uncredited roles in various movies and TV shows. The next small break came with a guest appearance in the long running TV series Friends. After working in minor supporting roles over the next few years a break was needed and a step back from the TV and film industry was taken. Getting married and having a child, life became settled, and even though acting and modeling is still in the works, family life seems to have taken over. We shall see what the future holds...- IMDb Mini Biography By: anonymous
