Staind have announced the new album Confessions of the Fallen, the band’s first new studio LP in 12 years. In advance of the album’s fall release, the Massachusetts rockers have unveiled the first single, “Lowest in Me.”
The album news comes a few weeks after Staind announced a co-headlining summer US tour with Godsmack. The outing kicks off July 18th in St. Louis, Missouri, with tickets available here.

Former Metallica bassist Jason Newsted is reuniting his eponymous metal band, Newsted, for their first show in 10 years. The metal act will make its return on May 20th at Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The gig will bring Jason back together with original members Jesus Mendez Jr. (drums) and Jessie Farnsworth (guitar). New guitarist Humberto Perez replaces Mike Mushok, who has a busy year ahead with his main band Staind.

Staind have announced a tour of the UK this October. The 'Outside' band play the dates in support of their Johnny K-produced self-titled seventh album, which will be released on September 12. Discussing lead single 'Not Again', frontman Aaron Lewis said: "It came out of being really f**king p*ssed off, and you can hear that in my voice."
