He acted in Lionel Bart's musical, "Oliver," playing the title role of Oliver, at the Piccadilly Theatre in London, England with Barry Humphries, Robin Ramsay, Marti Webb, Martin Dell, Thelma Rogers, Glyn Worsnip, Edna Dore, and Stephen Leigh/Raymond Milross in the cast. Peter Coe was director. Sean Kenney was designer. Later playing title role of Oliver at the Northampton Rep theatre for a short season.
