Bo-Xun Lin is a Taiwanese musician specializing in an orchestral style known for his refined mock-ups. He takes a unique approach to his work, delving into various sample libraries and experimenting with combinations to reproduce recording processes from an actual scoring stage.
Bo-Xun's background includes a childhood of listening to classical music and learning to play the violin from his father, a retired National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra violinist. Although he did not study music in his undergraduate years, he felt a calling to pursue music professionally. Thus, he started his career with amateur song arrangements and student films in 2013. He then began collaborating with Vanros Kloud (a.k.a. V.K) on several well-known Chinese television series, including Ice Fantasy (2016) and Summer's Desire (2018). He is also known for his game music composition, having worked on Word Game, Cytus II, Chunithm, and Mr. Love: Queen's Choice.
Bo-Xun's passion for music composition led him to pursue further education at New York University from 2017-2019. After completing his studies, he continued his work in Los Angeles with Anton Sanko and Solo Wang during his OPT training. After the pandemic, he decided to settle in the beautiful city of Vancouver, Canada.
