Director Mahesh Manjrekar says the song, Hum shaan se jalne nikle hai, has the power to move people. The song is part of his upcoming series, 1962: The War In The Hills.

With music composed by Hitesh Modak, the music video is a narration of the many sacrifices of a soldier who sets off to serve his country without fearing for his life.

The song is sung by Vijay Prakash, Salman Ali and Hitesh Modak while Lavraj has penned the lyrics. Six other songs that play in the series have been sung by Sukhwinder Singh, Vijay Prakash, Salman Ali, Shailey Bidwaikar and Shahjan Mujeeb among others.

"'1962: The War In The Hills' is a very powerful story about bravery and valour; and we wanted an equally powerful soundtrack that brings out the true emotions of the story. Hitesh and everyone else have done a tremendous job at creating a musical marvel.

The big banners of Bollywood are on a four-day visit to Kashmir to explore the scenic backdrops of the Valley for their future film projects.

The top names which have arrived include Ajay Devgun Films, Sanjay Dutt Productions, Reliance Entertainment, Rohit Shetty Films, Zee Studios, Adhikari Brothers & Sab (Marathi), Endemol, Rajkumar Hirani, Excel Entertainment etc., besides representatives from the Producers Guild from Mumbai.

The 24-member delegation of top-notch banners and other artistes visited Gulmarg on Thursday, a day after their arrival in Kashmir. Composer-singer Salim Merchant has festive melody lined up for fans. One of these, he says, is a Holi special with an iconic singer.

"I am doing a big song for Holi with an iconic singer. I will reveal the name soon. There is also a big Baisakhi song and a Maha Shivratri song. All are festive songs that will happen from March," revealed Salim Merchant.

After unveiling seven tracks from Salim-Sulaiman's album "Bhoomi 2020", the composer duo might return with "Bhoomi 2021".

"Hopefully, we will have 'Bhoomi 2021' starting September," said Salim. As a singer, he recently sang "Befizool" for the short film "The Sniper" directed by Ambar Chakravarty. Talking about it, he said, "War and terrorist attacks have been going on for years. They are very disturbing, especially for the people who get affected. The common men get affected apart from the ones fighting the war. All this bloodshed is so uncalled for.

Tere Sang Music Review

Moving on to the next song, ?Tere Sang?, ?its a superbly composed and penned romantic song by Mithoon and rendered to perfection by Arjit, who does a great job in quite a uniquely arranged number.

Akansha Sharma too chips in with a nice rendition. The music arrangement is lovely, especially the guitars. The song will indeed make for a nice Valentine's day gift for the die-hard romantics and their beloveds.?

Jai He Music Review

Next up is ?Jai He?, a lovely, inspirational patriotic number composed by Sandeep Shirodhkar and sung with zeal by Salman Ali. After adopting two of his caretaker's children, actor-host Jay Bhanushali is set to have his first child with wife and actress Mahhi Vij. He says it is a fascinating feeling to be a parent again and he is actually taking lullaby classes for his little one.

"It is a fascinating feeling to be a parent all over again and it is even more thrilling because this is our first kid together," Jay Bhanushali said.
